Hotel Tókert Szálloda és Étterem in Lillafured

The view and the entire atmosphere is amazing, with the waiter crew being super friendly, warm and professional. we had an amazing meal with the local Vargánya-Soup and the Local FishMeal ( Pisztráng) that was magnificent as well. The entire place is situated in a. valley surrounded by mountains, with a huge serene lakeshore. No wonder why so many people come to hike here and to take a promenade, it really is an enchanted area and this Restaurant and Hotel is right in the depth of if. super clean, elegant but not too flashy, loved it loads.

We had dinner one night here, our waitress Erika, was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful and prompt. Well priced , good portion sizes and so we returned for lunch two days later. Highly recommend.

We are from Australia and came to Hungary to visit family. We stayed at Hotel Tokert for two nights and it was delightful. The hotel has been lovingly restored and is full of character and elegance. Our room was beautifully styled, spacious and very comfortable with everything we could need for our stay. We ate in the restaurant several times and the service was exceptional. The food was incredible and the wild boar lasagne is one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Breakfast was very generous with a selection of traditional Hungarian dishes as well as western options. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we would have loved to stay for longer. They were also very helpful with suggestions of things to do and see in the area. The hotel and restaurant is located in a beautiful setting opposite the lake - it was like living in a fairytale. There are walking trails nearby and lots of interesting local attractions. We absolutely loved our time in Lillafured and would highly recommend staying here.

The food was great, and the terrace has a great view to the lake, and it's shady even in a hot summer day.
Beware, there are an awful lot of stairs in the place, but it's no surprise as the whole area is located between hills.

A classic hotel with fully updated rooms, very comfortable beds and a great restaurant. We loved the walk around the lake and the gardens and falls.

A group of us stayed for three nights. The staff was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. Loved the rooms as each was decorated beautifully and in a different style. The restaurant served a wonderful variety of delicious food so we decided to eat all our meals there. This place is well worth a visit for a few relaxing days to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended.
