Muskatli Panzio in Gyor

The price is normal, the service was also, the only thing I'm taking off a star for is that a woman was singing around 4am and woke us up, otherwise the elderly gentleman at the reception was funny

We showed up without a booking at 23:30 as we were driving late and needed a place to stay for the night. The door was open and there was a doorbell to ring in the reception. The older gentleman, who I assume was the owner, came to greet us. We only speak English, and he did not, but he was very patient and communicated with us that there were unfortunately no rooms. We went back to our vehicle and while we were packing up he knocked on the window to tell us he realized he did have a room and welcomed us in. He had a very bad limp but still took the time to come out, down and up the stairs, to let us know we could come in.

Yes the place is very basic but it's also very cheap and clean. Would definitely recommend if you need to place to crash! Its not too far off the highway and was very easy to get to.

Note: I'm not sure about this part as we were trying to communicate between two languages, but we got the impression that he was asking us if we'd made a reservation on Booking.com and that it's not always accurate. I'm not sure if that's what he was saying, but just be aware.

No problem arriving at 9PM, with two dogs, and our room had entrance from the street. Very nice! Clean, and a nice host too! We recommend this price worthy hotel!

Also it's cheaper, than anything in town. Yes, it's not luxury hotel. But it is cozy guest house

Really nice place to stay, the hotel keeper is friendly and accommodating and it was fairly quiet. Abit annoying he lets pets stay but that’s a positive for some so generally a lovely little accommodation.
