Sir
We stayed in an overpriced room with shared bathroom and shower (1 of each per ~15-20 rooms). Breakfast was not included and was too expensive for the food.
Ratings.
This is a hostel, not a hotel, but it's priced as a hotel. It smelled moldy, the heater didn't work. There were two showers and toilets for about 15 rooms. The toilets didn't flush well. It's "converted” dorm rooms, but nothing's been converted. I felt just like freshman year move in day, complete with cement-linoleum and a cheap clip-on desk lamp attached to an Ikea-style bookshelf. They only get away with the prices because there are so few options in that area.

Friendly helpful staff, average but clean rooms. Shared bathroom and shower were not the cleanest. Every door in the building slams into the frame/wall and sounds like falling boulders. Nearly impossible to navigate quietly at night.
Birgir
Nice hotel that is used as a school in the winter time, and good staff. Good stay for the price. Beautiful surroundings

Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Room was clean and included a sink, shampoo, and towels. Dorm style bathrooms and one shower. Small building with only a few other rooms so sharing wasn't an issue, never saw any other the other guests.

It was OK, the toilets are in the hall, but it’s clean and good for short lay overs

We enjoyed our stay here. Basic accommodations with good wifi and a comfy bed, close to Skógafoss. The room isn't too large, but we had no troubles with two big bags and two backpacks. Only thing we didn't like was the showers, on our floor both had very poor water pressure; one of the two was not draining well at all so you had to stop showering intermittently to keep the shower from flooding, and the other didn't have hot water until a good ten minutes in.

I liked this hotel/hostal. It's more affordable than any other hotel/hostal in the area and you can eat breakfast and dinner here. The breakfast doesn't really fill you up, but the dinner does a good job. Clean towels are given out every day and wifi is also free. Sometimes the staff makes your bed too. Staff is also very friendly. Sink water tastes a little gross, so it's best that you buy water if you want to refill. No bugs and no problems.

Oh God such small rooms I couldn't even move around. Its actually hostel not hotel. The wash basin in our room didnt work so every time we have to go to shared toilet even for handwash . It was a very difficult stay. The shared toilets and showers was okay but bad smell. The breakfast and food there was double the cost . I wont recommend anyone to eat here. Locality is good very close to skogar waterfalls . Can adjust for 1 night stay not more.

An okay stay, rooms are big, breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. Although it's more like a hostel, we stayed here 2 night, they didnt came in to room to clean after the first night, we had no private bathroom and the hot water has a weird smell (?). An okay stay
