Outdated hotel. Poor beds and basic breakfast. Was only for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. To expensive for what you're getting.

Hotel is quite good,but the city isn 't.

Great place! Owners are very friendly and helpful! Wish I would have planned more time in this town because the people are so nice! Breakfast was great, rooms were clean and comfortable.

Amazing place. Beautiful meal. Met famous Icelandic weatherman there.

Probably the most beautiful guesthouse in Iceland. Thank you for the nice stay.

Really nice place. Luxurious rooms, great food, hot tub in the yard and friendly staff. It was the most expensive guesthouse we visited in Iceland, but it was worth it.

Staff strange arrived and not so much as a hello bathroom shower curtain pink algae on the bottom tap not attached to the sink and wafer thin let all the light in from the porch light breakfast was good

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at the Taergesen restaurant. The cook and owner of this restaurant, the Blue Fox pub, the motel, and a nearby hotel. She is amazing. This is the site of the story line of the series Fortitude.

We arrived late and hungry and they were kind enough to let us eat and stay as long as we wanted. The owner was very friendly and charismatic and we felt right at home! The food was very nice and we tried their own beer which was really good. Would definitely recommend - skål from Denmark!

We had some car trouble and got in quite late. We appreciated the kindness we received when we did finally make it. We also appreciated the free breakfast that came with the room. Thank you!

The room was big and confortable, you could park de car in front of the door. Breakfast included was basic but you had a bit of everything. The restaurant of the B&B was really good quality, food was delicious. Staff was super friendly. I totally recommend staying here.

Very comfortable and welcoming. Lovely living area and kitchen for guests. Friendly staff.

My friends and I were on our way to Myvatn when all of a sudden a blizzard hit and we were stranded in Reyðarfjördur. Fortunately, there were rooms available here. The eponymous Marlin was very kind and helpful and taught us a lot about Iceland and the minerals here (she’s a former teacher). Beautiful view. Great host. The room was absolutely amazing. More like a hotel room than a hostel. Huge common area and good kitchen. Perfect location on the east fjords. Highly recommended

Fantastic old rustic style dorms. I love those old oak style barn houses. Cleanliness is top quality and service too. Make sure you book in advance.

Great room, in an amazing house, all accommodations, really neat place to stay. Very warm welcome, with great tips on what's worth seeing around. I highly recommend this place!

We had other travel plans through AirBnB fall through, and we fortunately came across this lovely hostel. Marlin managed to find us space and even provide breakfast the next morning. In the future, I'll definitely use hostels rather than AirBnB when traveling internationally. Marlin and her husband seem like lovely people, and we would highly recommend.
