Poor value for money We arrived for check in and given a very comfortable, clean but basic room. Parking was just outside. Only a minor downside, as you will be aware hotels are not good value for money in Iceland, but all the TVs were being upgraded so the current ones didn’t work. The accommodation is located right in front of the port of Husavik and is in a quiet and peaceful location. When we arrived, the hotel was unmanned, but there was a message for us at the front desk and a key, so we were able to go straight to our room. The hotel is easy to find and it’s a short walk to the town. It’s right next to Jaja ding dong bar (Eurovision movie fans!) and you get free entry to the Eurovision exhibition there if you show your hotel booking. Room was spacious enough for 2, clean and got everything we need. Breakfast was included in our booking and it had a decent spread. Very easy check in and check out so no complaints there

We actually did not stay at the hotel but we came here to go to the Ja Ja Ding Dong bar in a snow storm (Dec 30th 2022). The hotel and the bar were closed, but a super nice guy named Orli let us in and showed us the exhibition of the fire saga! AMAZING! We are going to come back in summer, when the hotel is open and we are definitely going to stay at the hotel! 😍

Sweetest property! It’s an older home that has been converted but every little detail has been taken care of. Easy to find and access, free parking, spacious rooms with lots of really nice touches like kettle and tea and glasses and cups in your room with a little table for 3. Would def stay again.

Loved it! We had a wonderful stay here. The staff is wonderful. Rooms are impeccably clean and well equipped. Bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained. We would stay here again!

This is a family hotel. The toilet is outside. It is inconvenient.

One of the best Airbnb at Húsavík! If you are lucky, get hold of Room 1. The only room with a great view! Easy check in and location is just 10mins away from Husavik town!

We cannot say enough great things about this guesthouse. Easy self check in, room was clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The view from the porch was gorgeous. The big plus was the stocked kitchenette with a refrigerator. Not to mention the best cold water I have ever tasted coming out of the faucet. Would definately stay here again.

Quiet place to stay between Husavik and Myvatn. Remote check in was simple and the view was great. We loved the deck with chairs and table to eat dinner at with a view of the Atlantic.

This place was beautiful! My friend and I had our own spacious room that was clean and comfortable. It had a window overlooking a beautiful area on the water. The kitchen was large and dining area was amazing. By far, our favorite place we stayed going around the Ring Road!

Really good place. Very clean with excellent rooms. The shared areas are both really good. I can recommend this to eceryone. Well located in walking distance to the harbour. We stayed there with friends and everyone was really happy. We will definately be back

The staff were very friendly and welcoming - taking time to have a chat each day. The kitchen was very well set up for any cooking needs. The outlook was unique and lovely to wake up to. I would stay here again.

Good accommodation for an affordable price, which is a lot in Iceland. 5 minutes walking to the center where the restaurant and excursions are. The smell of the place was not the best, that is the only but I could tell.

Good location, attention it is difficult to access with a city car. Kitchen and living room ok, however the bedrooms are poorly insulated.

Very clean, organized and equipped. We stayed one night in 4 divided into 2 rooms for 2 people located on the 1st floor. The cozy and functional room, with 2 windows, small table and sink. Shared bathroom with other guests. Very nice owner.

Guesthouse a few kilometers away from Husavik. The house has 5 double bedrooms, a fairly equipped kitchen, a nice dining room and a corner with sofa and coffee table. The facility is clean and functional. Outdoors there are games (swings ..) suitable for children. The house is on the banks of a stream. Very characteristic! Recommended!

Pleasant place, getting bags up to the rooms was a bit of hassle, just 1 shared shower, host was efficient, kitchen was nice, good value.

Room clean. We have found two eggs in the fridge we assumed from the chickens in the farm. We have found also some olive oils for preparing our food and other stuff (salt, pepper, sugar...). Great host, nice idea also the guest book. Best we have found in Iceland at the price we paid (we have changed 2 hotels and 6 guesthouses till now)

A cozy room in a quiet place with an amazing view, at a very honest price. The bathroom is super and the kitchenette very useful. We didn't even see the hosts but they provided us a nice breakfast with coffee, milk and fresh eggs. Would have stayed longer!

Absolutely loved this place, beautiful property in a quiet location (lakeside), very well connected to Husavik and Myvatn (20 mins drive). Best place among all the guesthouses we stayed in Iceland! Anna and her husband are amazing hosts, very accommodating and friendly. We stayed at Langavatn Guesthouse for one night during our trip around Iceland. Customer service was amazing, and the rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was simple, but had everything we needed. We had a nice riverside view from our room. The receptionist, presumably the owner of the guesthouse, gave us some great tips about the local area! 10/10 would recommend!

Everything was clean and worked perfectly. We even used the washing machine (you should ask beforehand how much does it cost to use it). I would totally recommend to come here. The landscapes are great and you’re only 30 min away by car to the nearest town.

We were on this farm in August 2021, it was a very nice stay, good breakfast, very nice spacious rooms and really nice hosts. Don't be afraid of animals if you stay here, sheep, chickens and their dogs Bruno & blueeye roam freely on the farm (I particularly enjoyed that). We enjoyed it very much, it was one of our nicest stays.

Easily the best place I have stayed on my trip around Iceland! The owners are the nicest people who make you feel so welcome. The rooms are great and the breakfast is homemade deliciousness. I will make staying here again top priority the next time I visit Iceland!

The unit we occupied was between two others. So, a little like a motel, but with a lovely rural atmosphere. Lovely little table set on the deck which overlooked the pastures. At the corner of the building was a hot tub which the owner filled upon arrival with geothermal water, which was then emptied after we'd gone to bed. Loved the hot tub and was one of the warmest we used while in Iceland...

So far the best accommodation we had in Iceland. It is very clean and made with love. We were welcomed very sweet and warm so that we felt immediately like home. I usually don't rate but this place made me to!

Amazing guesthouse. Great and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast included. The bed we had was amazing to sleep in. Very soundproof walls compared to our other stays so I could actually get a full nights rest for once. Hot tub can be asked to be filled which takes 1 hour. If you got the chance. Book this room atleast for 1 night.

It was lovely and warm. The cottages facilities were satisfactory for our needs. The location was very convenient for exploring the Myvatan area. The views were fantastic, and would have been perfect for auroras. The Hot tub was excellent, easy to use and really nice way to warm up when it was -10c.

Beautiful cottages in peaceful charming countryside. The kitchen is well equipped and there is also outer grill. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Recently stayed here with a couple girlfriends and it was perfect! The place was clean and cozy & the hot tub outside was a major plus. Perfect place to see the northern lights in a secluded setting! I absolutely want to stay here again!

A really nice accomodation with comfortable and clean beds, nice rooms and good breakfast. The view is astonishing and there is even a private hot tub free to use right in front of our door. Icelandic horses are right in front of our room, a mother and its foal. So cute! And we saw some soft northern lights!

Clean simple rooms, breakfast was nice standard fare, and they even had real maple syrup for the pancakes. The owner was so nice - it was about 15 minutes after breakfast was officially over (10a) and she asked the kids if they wanted more pancakes. Definitely caring, kind hosts.

Wow! Oli is a welcoming host and the property is sweet, natural and lovely. Tucked at the end of the road and adorned with terns the home features a hot spring in the backyard with a true hot pot, over 100 F. We took a hike up through the backyard to the alpine meadow where I sketched and admired. The private outdoor pool was amazing! A soothing temperature to swim a few short laps. I look forward...

A little piece of heaven, Haraldur is the perfect host that makes you feel like home. The house and rooms are well decorated. There are 3 bedrooms and a big shared bathroom. The best of it is a swimming pool and a natural SPA of about 40 degrees. It is worth going!

Decent apartment but certainly not luxury. No soap for shower and no soap holder or any place to put the soap once we bought it from a store. Very noisy location. The worst part is that we were on the 4th floor and no one told us there is no elevator. We are senior citizens and it was difficult to lug large suitcases to our room.

The place has no toiletries even though it is mentioned in their email and the staff want pictures and proof that there are no toiletries. The place can get noisy on weekends, we never got view anything on TV we could not locate the remote

Staff & location were wonderful, breakfast was good. Room across the street was subpar with dirty carpet, mildew smelling bathroom & super small. My husband previously stayed in the main bldg & it was nice. Would only stay here again if I had a room in the main bldg. If I had to stay in a room across the street again, I would run away. Don’t accept a room across the street.
