Amazing location, right at the waterfront. Hot tub area is great for northern lights spotting. And extra points for the detailed decor, and homie vibes.
I also love the locations, 5 minutes away from the downtown area, but without the disruption.

I stayed in this lovely boutique hotel for one night in March. The hotel is located in one of the oldest buildings of the town and has just been renovated with lots of attention to detail and respect to the history of the building. Before arrival a code was sent to my email for the check-in with all necessary instructions but when I arrived in the afternoon, the owner was even around and could check me in personally.
I had a superior double room on the ground floor. A beautiful room with heigh ceilings and harbour and fjord view. The rooms are equipped with a smart TV, Nespresso machine, mini-fridge, cups and glasses and bathrobes and slippers. The room was very spacious and elegant, yet historic. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a rain shower and high quality shower products. The hotel has small self-service bar with a wine fridge, a fridge with cold beers and sodas, some snacks and coffee. There's a little wellness area in the backyard with a Finish sauna and two jacuzzis. The area can be used from 4pm - 9pm. If you're lucky, you can see the Northern Lights from there. Currently there's no breakfast served, however the owner told me that they are building a breakfast area on the top floor where they will be serving a breakfast buffet. The hotel has a very authentic and historic character and offers a lot of comfort. However, due to its proximity to the harbor, noises such as cars driving by, people talking and I guess ships docking in the summer can be heard. I would still come back!

Everything about this property is great. Beautiful rooms, good service and location. The mattresses are quite soft, but 2 nights ago my back gave out. Didn't try the steam or hot tub - maybe next time..
