Byli jsme nadseni. Prijedem znova! Very good location. Professional staff. Reasonably sized room with private bathroom. Good roller blinds. Good internet. Large parking lot. All clean. This place is more suitable for travellers rather than to spoiled tourists. Why do you need TV in the room if you are on Iceland?!

We stayed there three noghts and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. The rooms are pretty and clean, the services absolutely fine and the receptionists are so nice and willing to help with or advise anything one might need.

is important to know this is a student dormitory converted to a hotel during the summer tourist months. That means sparse very basic accommodations that are not super cozy, very little decor, furniture that seems out of place in the foyer and other areas, no TV or amenities, tiny bathrooms, thin walls (you hear everyone else showering, moving around etc) and wifi that doesn’t work great, if at all...

Don’t take any notice of other reviews! Iceland accommodation is limited at best of times!! This is a very small town and I can promise for the price you will not be disappointed. It’s very modern, clean, staff super friendly 24hr receptionist. One of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in!! Stay here then go to the KK restaurant in town.

This summer hotel is a boarding school during the year. The essential is there and the staff is friendly.

Tremendous hotel! Magical. Lovely geothermal pool. Elegant dining in an epic restaurant setting. Wonderful classic old rooms. Helpful staff. Didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful discovery of this historic hotel in Saudarkrokur. Staff very attentive to their guests, impeccable breakfast in a beautiful restaurant room. Our Icelandic trip was even more beautiful thanks to this place. We will return.

We were on the 2nd floor of the annex, which required carrying our luggage up steep steps. The room itself had a lovely front view of the water and was quite spacious with a sitting room. One of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed. Super friendly staff and well equipped, clean, good looking accommodation.

Everything was fantastic. Super friendly staff, excellent food and the rooms were beautiful. I would definitely come back tomorrow if I could. The best stay of my whole Iceland trip.

Great guesthouse and surrounding views! The rooms were spacious, clean, and spa like. The food was delicious and staff we gracious! Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice accommodations. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is very good and the breakfast buffet offerings are more creative than the usual hotel offerings. The view from the room was beautiful and tranquil and the chairs are perfect for lounging and taking in the panoramic sights. If you stay here be sure to visit the turf farmhouse museum on the opposite side of the valley.

We stayed for one night as a couple. The rooms are great in size, clean and a modern, with an outstanding view. The mattress & bed is very comfortable. The service is helpful and friendly. Stay here. Eat here. You won’t forget it. Stunning views from a modern, beautiful room overlooking the valley. But the food! Horse is a traditional food and it’s amazing. And for breakfast (included) they had more, plus slices of cold lamb(in addition to the regular fare.)

Located in a remote and beautiful landscape, this family run hotel is made for relaxing 100%. Comfortable chairs inside the deluxe rooms is very inviting for letting your thoughts roam free. Late check out was accepted as well, allowing us to enjoy more of the beautiful landscape and take in a quick nap after breakfast. Recommendable, however not cheap.

Good location. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed. Other guests were very friendly so had a fun night.

The bed was very comfortable, it had a nice kitchen to make dinner, good space there. Everything was very clean and it was a nice stay.

The village is a very small and quiet fishing village. We were 1 night in the hotel. More precisely, we were in the guest house. This is down the road a little. We had a room there on the first floor. Unfortunately, the rooms are very bright, so from the room you could hear everything that takes place in the hallway / stairwell. But that did not bother us much, because at night it was quiet. I think...

Room, kitchen and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Breakfast at Hotel Tindastoll was great! The building wasn't very soundproof, which made me wake up very early. Apart from that the stay was great!

kligardur Guesthouse (part of Tindalstoll Hotel) What a nice place to stay. You could tell they wanted to make the place homey and it was great having a kitchen where we could cook a meal. Only tough part was we were on the third floor with steep steps. Since I’m in my late 60’s that was a bit of a challenge. Our room was very small and had no washbasin. Great kitchen, also has a nice dining and socialising place for a group (that is if you're part of the group and don't want to sleep early ;) )

Very nice Guesthouse. It's clean, cosy, modern and the price is fair. The kitchen is well equipped and has nice warm colours. Hosts were very nice and uncomplicated when I came back the same day after checking out due to a storm. I would go back anytime when I'm in the area again!

Nice, clean guesthouse! Owner was very responsive and helpful with a last minute booking in April. Shared kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals, bathroom with shower is nice. Good location for checking out Saudarkrokur!

We had a wonderful evening watching and singing with the locals. Thank you very much! I love Iceland and its people. Fantastic evening!!!

Lovely house. Kitchen had basically everything. Owner dropped by to say quick hi. Was able to do laundry on our ring road trip. Area is also nice and beautiful around. Nice town and lovely bakery nearby

We popped in here for a few drinks after dinner and it was well worth it. The owner is sooo nice and helpful. Happy hour drinks from 8-9 were great value and lovely local craft beers on tap. Decor is very cute and cosy too. Seems to be very popular with the locals on Friday nights which is always a good sign! Overall great experience.

Firstly the owner is soo lovely! She lets you try the beers before you order them. Happy hour from 8pm - 9pm it is 2 for 1 and the beers are 1300 so it’s a great deal. All the beers are local craft beers and they are lovely!

We had a comfortable stay. The rooms are nice and there’s a shared kitchen. Don’t miss to have a local beer at their Bar downstairs!

It's far from anything, but a great place with nice kitchen and common area. Check out their horse back riding! It is the best experience with the best price as well, half of what other places charge.

Cozy and clean stay. Large shared kitchen with most of what you would need to cook. Two ovens and a microwave, but no freezer. Right next to a horse farm that does tours as well! You get a discount.

Best Guesthouse in Iceland do far. Incredible view, very clean and cosy rooms, great style. Kitchen is great, bathrooms are very clean. Highly recommend 💖

Helluland Guesthouse is a very nice and cosy Guesthouse. The owner has furnished it in the old and cosy farm house style. The kitchen, the guest and sleeping room's are realy clean and confortable. The view in the fjord is amazing. Work-related i lived there for more than 1 year and I enjoyed it so much. The owner Peony and Daniel are very nice and courteous and I will thank them for this great time...

Absolutely recommendation!! So nice and cozy!! Very good bedrooms, big kitchen with everything you can think of, a large dinning room followed by a comfortable living room with great view to the mountains, fjord and horses! Very clean!! It really feels like HOME!
