What a quirky place!! Initially we loved it compact but had everything we needed. We found the place very easily using Google Maps. An interesting location in the middle of the fishing port / industrial units but what great sea views.
Our only disappointment was that one of the 3 units we rented had no heating and it was cold! When we phoned the helpline they promised to come look while we were out eating, upon our return a fan heater had been plugged in but that really didn't help a lot!!

Amazing for a short stay, Grindavik is small and not alot to see, nice volcano 10 minutes away with the car but the Cottage is a must do if you want a place thats not that far from KEF airport

Great place to spend the first night in Iceland. Very clean, nice and warm and situation is not bad with views. Price was reasonable but you need to be aware you need to get your own breakfast.

A basic small cabin. There were 4 of us and this was a tight squeeze. Everything was clean and useable so no complaints for an overnight stay.

The huts are easy to access and clean.
We had a front view cottage and paid almost 900€ for 3 nights and almost could not sleep because of that terrible heat that was mostly in the bedroom. No matter how much we changed the heating, it was always on at least 24 degrees. We had our door open for multiple hours and not even that helped to get the sticky air out.
Also, we hoped that the big front window maybe has a mirror foil so you get more privacy. We ended up keeping the blinders down because people constantly drove by and were basically able to see everything. The blinders are also not working properly as they always rolled down completely - so our view was always blocked.
There was also only one garbage can so there is no way to separate your waste.
Also, the window in the bathroom has some protection on it so no one can see you - the bedroom on the other hand doesn’t have that and it was pretty annoying waking up to someone doing yoga in front of your bedroom window….
Altogether we would not recommend it for the price.
