You could really feel that there is a highly skilled chef behind it all, the food was beautiful to look at and even better to taste

This hotel room was super clean . The staff was helpful and the location of this hotel just beside the road side . Easy to get here. We are lucky to see the aurora just behind the hotel. Will come back again next time .

Everything was perfectly paired with excellent champagne, which elevated the experience even more. After dinner, we had cocktails, and I ordered an Old Fashioned, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had

It's fantastic. Spacious rooms, very friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. They have natural hot springs, a sauna, a gym, and a golf course. Everything is great!

The staff called us at night to tell us there’s a vivid display of Northern Lights outside! Very appreciative of that notice. Rooms are modern and clean.

First I would like to mention that we stayed in the cottage, so my review is about it. The property is 5 minutes from town on a beach area, so there nothing around. The cottage was spacious and clean

A beautiful view of the mountain on one side and a breathtaking view of the ocean on the other, nice rooms and comfortable beds, a jakuzzi that overlooks the sea and incredibly helpful staff, this place is amazing

They even have a shared hot tub and sauna! 👍 You can cook in the village house, but it's not as spacious as a guesthouse. The breakfast selection was very extensive!

We stayed one night at this hotel, the hotel is family run & is staffed. They have a hot tub & sauna available as well. The rooms are quiet, clean & cozy. Nothing super amazing about this hotel but decent

The whole enterprise, in spite of being a small business, meets (or in some respects, exceeds) all expectations from paying tourists, in terms of the interior planning, and facilities available, including a hot bath and a sauna room! The heating systems inside the attached washrooms work superbly! The buffet timings are a little strict, so that the management has no problems catering to the small number...

The sauna and hot tub were clean and adequate. Unfortunately, our shower flooded the entire bathroom. The hotel is a little remote, but the view outside of our window made up for that

All dishes are delicious, and the dining area is quite spacious, and contains the reception desk! The remoteness of the location helps maintain serenity, and is a perfect place for tourists who love some quiet! We highly recommend checking out this place!

We were hoping to leave early to start the golden ring circle before the crowds however, breakfast does not start until 8 o’clock, which is a little late for trying to get an early start

Overall a great find :) staff were helpful, friendly and gave good advice on our plans. Breakfast range was plentiful, hot tubs were a great treat after long hikes. Place was clean, modern and comfortable

Really enjoyed our stay here – the hotel is modern and cozy, in a peaceful location. Yes, the rooms (especially the bathroom) are a bit small, but the included spa and breakfast more than make up for it

Would stay here again if I’m back. One small downside is that the showers were abit small. Would strongly advise providing non-slip mats as I did nearly trip in the showers

Would maybe have loved a longer shower curtain to our room in 314, as water splayed everywhere. But that's a tiny thing compared to the rest of the lovely stay

Breakfast was the best selection I've had so far. This hotel has an elevator which was great to not carry bags up. All great things on this hotel. Staff in the restaurant was not too helpful

Best hotel Ive stayed in so far in Iceland. The room and bathroom was a good size. The bathroom I had was themed a bit like a volcano. Plenty of electric plugs in the room, a TV

The spa was wonderful, the standard room was roomy, breakfast tasted great, and there was a happy hour at the bar, but most importantly, the service was excellent, the team was very nice and helpful! Our dog felt great at the hotel, The only thing that could use some improvement is the menu; it’s a bit limited in options and the prices are on the higher side

Really lovely hotel. Everything great, only downside was the location. We hadn’t realised how far out it was from everything. Great for seeing northern lights but at least a 2 hour drive to lots of the popular sights.

Beds comfy but would prefer cotton rather than towelling sheets but that’s a personal preference not a negative. Great little spa with 2 outdoor hot tubs. Bonus was catching northern lights on two of the nights

Hotel was clean and nice. Location is 1.5hr away to Vik etc but was a great stop for us coming down from the north. Didn’t manage to see any aurora here as the weather was cloudy.
