1. Room was extremely toasty/hot to the point we had to striped down to our underwear’s whenever we were in the room. We did report the issue to the front desk, but evidently, they were NO way they can adjust the room temperatures. So the 2nd night we got two fans from front office and had to keep our only window opened
2. the window was locked, so we could only open it partially about 5-10 degree angle
3. The most annoying issue was the super tiny bathroom, even based on petite people standard!!!Every time someone shower, the entire bathroom is flooded and room got steamy wet. (See photos)
4. No vanity ; sink only. So hard to even have any thing put by the sink ( see photo)
Verdict: poor value. We will NOT return to Varmaland for rate we paid and uncomfortable situations we were in. There are better locations and better rooms in the area.
They were extremely kind with helping our mothers birthday and coordinate it with the restaurant.
Would maybe have loved a longer shower curtain to our room in 314, as water splayed everywhere. But that's a tiny thing compared to the rest of the lovely stay.
