My stay at the hotel was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was very well organized. It’s clear that great care is taken to provide high-quality service. I left feeling very satisfied and would happily recommend this hotel to others, I would definitely stay here again.

The decor, facilities, and towels were rather old, but the room was fairly large and the breakfast was quite plentiful. After checking in, while I was taking a shower, the receptionist knocked loudly on the door. Thinking it was an emergency, I quickly came out of the bathroom to open it. While saying that cooking wasn't allowed in the hotel rooms, she rudely peeked inside to make sure we hadn't cooked anything before leaving! A poor stay!

This hotel had a large party for locals (a staff party for a local business) our first night there. Given their aggressive noise policy, posted in all the rooms, we were extremely disappointed that the party went on past 2am; with bass you could hear in all the rooms. We went to complain to the desk twice but the staff was clearly not empowered, or simply didn't care, to have them turn the music down. This ruined our stay here. The second night was quieter, but we had to leave the windows wide open in order to get the room cool enough to sleep. The floor heat was off but clearly the room is heated by other means. The food was quite good in the restaurant but you will pay some of the highest prices at any hotel on the island. Breakfast buffet was good as well. The grounds are nice and walking the golf course is a good option for people looking to spend time outside, even if not playing golf. If you are looking to see the northern lights, the skies around the hotel are very dark, but the hotel itself has a lot of outside lights, so you'll need to move away from it a bit.

Beautiful hotel....we stayed one evening on a 10 day drive around Iceland...by far the largest most comfortable room we experienced on our trip. The hotel restaurant is outstanding..we had dinner on the night we arrived and it was one of the best meals we had while in Iceland. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel boasts a beautiful golf course, which is a pleasant place to stroll around after breakfast in the morning, leaving you feeling refreshed. Dinner is also delicious. Although the hotel is not in the town center, it is perfect for a vacation. The only drawback is that the bathrooms are relatively small.
