The room was basic, clean and functional. We missed a water cooker in the room. Oh and a toilet brush. Dinner and breakfast was ok. This hotel is used by big groups so it’s all a bit spacy, and lacks a bit of warmth. Overal educate for a night to stay.

Nice and sizable hotel, very quiet at night.. Room is big enough and the bed is comfy. Shower room is good. Breakfast is good. Hotel situated at the location which is away from the main road. Next to hotel is a golf course, some rooms has view to the golf course. They provide Northern Light alert, reception will call at night if NL are spotted.
Stayed in one of the cabins in February with my husband and 3 month old son. The location is stunning, the cabin was perfect, very cosy and calming. Weveach took a turn walking tonyhe steam room in the snow, it was an amazing experience! Buffet breakfast was great and staff were all friendly l. Would stay here again!
Highly recommended. The scenery is very beautiful. There is a sauna and a pool. Although I didn't try it, the scenery in the morning was so beautiful. The pink snow-capped mountains. The room was very comfortable and warm. The size was sufficient. Netflix and HBO members are available on the TV. You can watch both.

We stayed in one of the Lodges/cabins our first night in Iceland - a very good stop, a short walk from the sea. I made use of the hot tub near our room. The breakfast at the main building another short walk away was very good too. There are more new similar lodges being built the seaward side of the existing ones so make sure the one you pick suits your requirements
Friendly staff. Breakfast was very good with plenty of continental options. Room was comfortable although not great for tall people due to the sloped ceiling. Nice hot tub and good location to see the northern lights.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of our holiday, as it was a convenient 60 minutes from Reykjavik, (90 minutes Keflavik) I emailed beforehand and requested a ground floor room, which we were given. About 4 kms outside Borgarnes … so no business near by, that’s a minus if you need to buy anything, but also a plus because it has dining and you cannot get the view from elsewhere
The hotel is close to supermarkets and restaurants. The bathroom could be improved though. There js a jacuzzi but it is somewhat broken. Staff were friendly enough. The views from the hotel are very nice.

The room overlooking the bay on the ground floor is just fantastic and what a view. Fab sunset, Aurora Borealis if your lucky. The restaurant is just superb and we had lovely food, even vegetarian. had great options.
We were lucky, a table was reserved went available (the customers didn't show up). The owner gave us a table. There was a buffet of variant fishes. The meals were very delicious. The lamp chops meal was out of the menu. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices.
Had the fish buffet (wrongly marked in the menu as appetizer) for around 35 euros you get soup of the day, bread and all you can eat of four kind of fish with side dishes like rice, salad and potatoes. Everything was delicious. Best meal we had in iceland.

Strongly recommendable: Family run restaurant and hotel, with excellent food well presented. Fish soup is amazing and the burger was delicious as well, and the only good espresso we had in 10 days on Iceland! Amazing. They also have fish buffets with all you can eat for dinner. Really recommendable and worth having lunch or dinner.

Wonderful & cozy stay! Everything was clean, neat & host was generous to provide a good variety of food for breakfast. Those staying second floor there’s slight steep stairs thus lesser luggages would be good. Location was easy to find with Google Maps. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Old house, very very noisy if anyone in the house moves around, you will hear that. We had another family who woke everyone up at 2am in the morning.
Easy self-check in, which was great for us because we reached near 11pm. Beds were comfortable, heating was good. Best part was breakfast. Shared kitchen was well stocked with pans, eggs, milk, salami, oil, sauces, for cooking. Had a satisfying breakfast complete with coffee, juices and yogurt.

Very clean, tidy lodgings, but the doors let to much light in. This made it so you couldn't totally darken the room which made it hard to get some good sleep. Breakfast was good tho there was some very nice freshly baked bread available.
Very isolated and quiet with views of river and mountains was originally a fishing lodge with great history. They checked us in early and made us feel at home as weather was very bad. Small but cosy rooms great food from local farm. Expensive but really enjoyed our brief stay.
A great place, isolated and quite but still 7 minutes drive from the town of Borgarnes (a VERY small town, pretty much empty after 8pm). The hotel offers an included breakfast and a dinner service. Beautiful house and beautiful area, wifi in the rooms may be weak depending on the room, but very strong in the living room that also offers coffee and tea throughout the evening.

Lovely, clean and calm guesthouse. I enjoyed the silence very much.
Perfect place to stay for a stop over. Clean, homey, and comfortable. The place has an elevated viewpoint which is perfect to see aurora and lucky us we got to see a strong Aurora!
