Our hosts were amazing to us. We were truly taken care of from check in and getting all set with room.

It's really close to see the true face of Straw Hat Mountain. It's a 5-minute drive and staying in 1 is acceptable.
There are not many hotel or B&B options nearby. Naturally, the price is on the expensive side and the quality is average. Compared to the hotels in the south of Iceland, it is really far behind. If you don’t compare, you won’t be disappointed.
Of course, only problem is roommates. Ours weren't super noisy but you can still hear them if they are moving around while you are trying to sleep. But that's common of hostels.
