I was very pleased with the hotel. I got a room with a workspace and a view over Patreksfjörður. The staff was wonderful and gave me a warm welcome. The breakfast was good, always with the scent of freshly baked waffles. I stayed here for a few nights and hardly wanted to leave.

Hotel not clean and little services offered
Arrived very jet lagged with no one to check in, no help. Room had sand and hairs on bed. Small. Very small town and long drive to the cliffs. Shortened my stay (already too long) and no refund. Worth less than half charged. Best thing about town was seafood pizza in grocery store (which hotel did nothing to help me find). Very unusual for me in my iceland experience.

A cozy and clean hotel with friendly owner and staff. Our room had great view of the fjord and mountains on the other side. Great location.

I stayed at Hotel West and had an unforgettable experience. The room was spotless, and very comfortable, with a truly beautiful sea view that made the stay even more special. The breakfast was great and the perfect start to each day. What impressed me the most, however, was the staff – incredibly friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. I can highly recommend Hotel West to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

Loved the ocean view and the sounds of the waves at night. Lovely staff and breakfast as well. Would 100% recommend this hotel while staying in Patreksfjörður.

Great location, near restaurants and with great views of the water. Hotel manager was very friendly and helpful with our bags. We used the hot tub and sauna - both were well maintained. Good breakfast. Room was small for 2 people but very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. Bugs everywhere and the owners are very rude and disrespectful. No refund available. Warning do not go there

With a view of the ocean a few feet away, I really enjoyed this room. I met the manager at breakfast and he was very helpful in encouraging me to do some exploration that I might have otherwise missed. As he is a former guide I trusted his judgement on time required.

Good location overlooking the fjord. Friendly receptionist booked us a table at the local restaurant.
