Beautiful and exceptionally clean rooms in a quiet area of Delhi. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The rooftop with a lot of plants is a great bonus. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Delhi

This is a mixture of a homestay and a 4 star hotel in a quiet part of Defence Colony. The service is exceptional and the common spaces very comfortable. I loved the art on the walls and the great homestyle cooking. Would return here again and again

We had 4 separate stays at Colonels retreat whilst in Delhi and between safaris across northern India. It was homely and welcoming, all staff were happy to arrange anything - Book taxis, or tuk tuks, Provide walking directions, provide meals well outside normal hours. They even stored our shopping for us til our final night, arranged tasty breakfast boxes for early starts, and very late dinners for later evening arrivals. The owners would greet guests over breakfast and dinner, chat, even suggest ideas for local sightseeing which were very welcome. Quite a different kind of stay to a big hotel, much more personalised. Very nice rooms - some bigger than others- we had four different ones over our stays. Great food - breakfast and dinner- and dining on the roof terrace particularly enjoyable. All in a safe feeling area.

Excellent small hotel in Defense Colony. Neighbourhood is decent and shaded. Room was perfect, clean, and ideal for a couple of nights. Restaurant is also highly recommended for dinner and breakfast. Staff was professional and courteous.

Great haven in busy Dehli. Lovely big rooms, super friendly staff, great rooftop terrace for breakfast and dinner which were superb. Beautiful interiors and just what we needed at the end of a busy day in Dehli.

This is a clean, quiet and welcoming place to stay. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food at both breakfast and dinner ( on the rooftop) is superb. Freshly made and varied. A lovely experience all round.

Colonel’s is a lovely retreat, with a beautiful and calm esthetic. I very much appreciated the timely communication and that they were able to facilitate an early check in. I’d definitely stay here again.

A lovely sta with fantastic staff in a prime location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Most amenities were fine, though the WiFi was too slow to be useful for work. Overall, worth it for the hospitality, but don't rely on the WiFi.

We arrived at the hotel at 5 am where we were met by a security guard who told us breakfast was 7-10 and then proceeded to take us across the road to a totally different place. As you can imagine, we were concerned. The room was dark and basic and not what we had booked. After a couple of hours sleep, we went across to the actual hotel and realised the staff were aware of our dissatisfaction. Needless to say they moved us straight away to a beautiful room. The main hotel including staff, rooftop restaurant and ambience was wonderful and it made up for the bad start. Had it not been for that I would have given 5 stars. Note to hotel- don’t put people in a different place to the one they’ve booked, especially when they have been travelling for hours and there is no one to speak to, it’s not a great start

Very comfortable home stay in a quiet sector in Delhi. The food was very tasty and the staff friendly and accommodating. We had a room close to the breakfast area, so noisy early in the morning when people were leaving early. Hence the average review.

The place serves arguably the best kathi rolls in Delhi. The double chicken double egg roll is to die for. At Rs 220/- it's not expensive as it's a meal in itself. A crisp layered paratha, with a a mushy layer
