Shame the pool is closed as we came specifically as it says it's open on Booking.com. No fridge in the room, Air con is limited to 25⁰.

Not great but ok - NOT 4 stars. More like 3 Stayed for 3 nites Air Conditioner was broke and not working the first night but they brought us a fan which helped and they fixed it the next morning. Breakfast was great the first morning and went downhill from there- $8.00 per person. Probably not worth it but the coffee was good. No cafe near by. Shower great. Staff helpful. Wonderful family run hotel on the outskirts of Avola. Sebastiano and his family took great care of us. Rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the sea and it’s surrounding restaurants, as well as the train station for exploring further afield. This is a great base if you want to get out and about to see more of the area. Thank you so much!

The hotel is beautiful, the pool, rooms and facilities are superb. The staff are amazing and made us feel so welcome. The staff worked so hard to make sure we were happy. A huge thank you to Sebastian who really looked after us and made our holiday so lovely. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back in the future!

Wow is the word, If I could give 6 stars I would have done it. The place is magic, sunny, relax and nice people. It is in a strategic area where you can move easily and have a lot of things to do nearby. I loved the Italian food made house and the room was so clean and comfortable. We will defiantly come back again next year. Superraccomended

Amazing great location great rooms and lovely people

Fantastic - we moved here for a couple of nights after a bit of a disaster a little south. Great rooms, fantastic welcome. Good breakfast. Terrace rooms are amazing . The local beaches are great. Gutted we didn’t go to the restaurant next door as ran out of time. Such welcoming people it made me feel great. Worth a visit indeed! Spacious rooms, clean, tidy and great facilities.

Very nice family, perfect service. We only reserved at 5 pm for the night. The owner came especially for us to the hotel to prepare a room. We got a nice room with a roof terrace. The water pressure was fluctuating and the WiFi did not reach into the room, but this was not disturbing us.

Pros: great location, pretty room, spacious terrace, friendly staff, clean. Cons: broken air conditioner in our room (the hotel staff did not offer any alternative room, just a fan... which I find very disappointing!), wifi not reaching the room, a bit too minimalistic breakfast to my taste. The beach next to the hotel was my favourite beach in Avola, so location-wise the hotel feels perfect.

So it was hard To check in because the address on the website is 14, but access to the B&B is through 16. The numbers listed on the front of #14 are non functioning. It was really hard to check in and until the host answered the message through the website we were not able to check in. Convenient to the sea but in a very quiet area. Beautiful garden where breakfast is served, rich in local, homemade products of excellent quality and always varied. Excellent cleaning. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Great location. Clean room but with some shortcomings. I found the toilet seat broken, the mattress with a pronounced dip that made my sleep difficult and nervous. Excellent breakfast, nice staff, shame about the two major drawbacks.

We stayed one night. I put 4 out of 5 only because we didn't like that the bathroom door was missing but there was a curtain. Then for the rest I recommend it. The owners are super friendly. Wonderful and varied breakfast.

We loved our stay here. It is a very natural farm stay , but with real charm. It is situated amongst lemon trees which were being harvested while we were there. Beautiful serene place immersed in nature where by you can completely relax and unwind. . Silvio and Corrado , the owners of this agriturismo make sure that your stay is enjoyable. Property has a Large pool, acres of lemon trees and horses/chickens/ cats/dog. Definitely you need a car to reach the area, ample parking space is however available. Will definitely visit again

The breakfast was very good, a lot of different food, not only sweets, very good homemade almound's butter, a lot of animals (nice for kids).

My girlfriend treated me to a stay at this amazing venue. The surround is beautiful and you can feel lost in peace after a busy and excited trip around Sicily. The accommodation had a simple rustic feel, complemented by a beautiful swimming pool to help cool one’s self down during the day (which stays open all night also!). This place is a magical space in val di Noto. A piece of land surrounded by greenery wherever you look, with nice space where children / families can relax and chill. A drawback we've encountered is the lack of available wifi (hence why the four star).

I am travelling alone, And found this place because it was one of the cheapeast in Avola still available, I was feeling so fancy because I travel with my back pack and always take the cheapest place to sleep. The property is well maintained and well cared for. The rooms in their simplicity are comfortable and clean. The staff is very kind and attentive to the needs of the client. The pool is fabulous. Surely, if I were to return to the area, I would choose the property again.

As a solo traveller a warm welcome by the friendly and helpful staff is important. That is exactly what the people at Nuovo Castello Crisillo did and I felt at home from the first moment. Since there were hardly any other guests - the high season had yet to begin - I had the pool for my own.

Out of the chaos, relaxing place. One can easily imagine the tranquility that the monks lived inside the structure. The gentleman in charge of receiving guests proved to be an excellent host. Very kind and affable. A person of other times.

Very characteristic and well-renovated structure, the little maintenance in my opinion creates non-negligible inconveniences: problems with hot water (absent due to boiler failure), water that comes out with difficulty in the bathroom or toilet that leaks water with consequent noise. What a great resort set in a quite area! We stayed there for a week with kids and had a great time. Rooms were very nice, updated, cleaned regularly, no complaints. The pool area was well maintained and the kids had a lot of fun there. They also serve drinks there and the sunbeds and umbrellas are free. There is only 1-2 restaurants within walking distance but you have to walk on the side of the road...

Nice clean rooms with bare minimum toiletries which are not replaced when cleaning, even if they are empty. Pool is nice but super small compared to the amount of occupancy which this resort can take, in fact we didn’t get to use it as it was overcrowded. I booked multiple rooms at Tenuta Don Paolino for my family who came for a wedding. Paolo was super accommodating and kind, he was able to help them with restaurant recommendations and car rental as they don't speak Italian. We stayed only 3 nights at this place and we enjoyed every minute. The whole place is located in the middle of lemon plantation that brings peace and quiet atmosphere. Aldo close to Avola, Noto and Syracuse. Breakfast was simple and very tasty. Cappuccino for breakfast was very nice touch. Mr. Paolino is very nice person and the place represents his kindness and character.

The best accommodation on Sicily! The property Is extremely nice, with attention to details and very well located! Rooms with AC and all facilities needed! The host prepares breakfast every morning and you have the chance to enjoy local jams, probably produced in the area. The cappuccino I had in this place is so far the best I ever tried! Really lovely place and great value. We stayed two nights in May 2023. Quick and easy access to Siracusa, Noto and the Val di Noto. Clean and well-decorated and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable, the view from the breakfast room, pool and actually just the whole property is AMAZING! Very nice, spacious rooms with exceptional beds. Great wifi too. Overall, this is a great place but it does need more soundproofing. All the voices downstairs echoed up into our room, including the host’s voice and the ringing of the office phone, which were near constant the first several hours we were there.
