The rooms are very nice and clean, the beach is under a minute away from the hotel and they have a sauna and a nice steam bath. The pool is big enough and very refreshing if you prefer this over swimminf in the sea. You can also always borrow a bike to drive to the lighthouse or somewhere else (They look pretty nostalgic). Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, fabulous food, brilliant facilities. Bikes to use during your stay, pushchairs to use when needed, buckets and spades and lidos for the beach or pool. It's all the little things... Perfect location too. Right on the beach, next to the foot and bike path that stretches on for miles in either direction. Everything is really accessible.

Unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces.Every day the car had to be pulled away so that someone else could get in. This is quite annoying because they can call you at any time that the person is in the wrong place with their car.

I have been coming to Hotel Excelsior since I was a child for 15 years straight and we continue coming here as a family every summer. We had a really pleasant time at hotel Mediterranee. Room were nicely decorated and all the furniture one can need for a small stay. Little fridge and kitchen. 2 tvs. Queen size bed. Excellent service, clean and welcoming. Although a traditional hotel tailored to north Europeans, it offers a great settings, with excellent food. Beach just outside the hotel. Sunbeds are with numbers and reserved by hotel for free. Car parking is free but limited. Underground parking available but extra paid. We’ve stayed at Laguna many times since 2019, but sadly, the quality has declined significantly this year.
