Rooms are very small even for 3 persons. Seems to old and used. Bathroom and room have all 'compulsory' items to try fulfilling the 4 start condition list, more than challanging. The Hotel is rated 4 stars and the pictures on website for breakfast were amazing. However, far from it. The room was a bit damaged and the breakfast was ok. Overall nice stay but far from 4 stars.

Really close to the beach and it has a nice pool. Unfortunately some of the staff don't really grasp customer service and make you feel like you are bothering them if you need something.

Excellent Italian cuisine very friendly staff

Very nice and all, but for the price? Not worth it! The rooms are fairly small. The food options are mediocre and so is the pool. Some of the staff is fantastic while others are somewhat rude. The beach is wonderful and clean. Also wonderful jogging route. Mini fridge was broken.

Great location, beach is in short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet street surrounded with beautiful trees which makes it really charming and offers good relax for guests. Meals are excellent, varied and waiters super friendly. Pool and bikes were also very useful for us with a young child. We enjoyed our stay very much, made remarkable memories and are eager tor return sometime.

Spotless hotel with a really helpful and friendly team on hand for anything and everything. Rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable (great AirCon) and only 20 steps from the beach and Main Street (If your room is facing the bars and restaurants, it can get a little loud at night).

Very friendly staff, excellent service, great and varied food, including vegetarian. The rooms are cleaned daily. We enjoyed full pension/full board - the personel is flexible and understands if the tourists are late for dinner or lunch.:)

Breakfast was delicious, wonderful view, so that was definitely a highlight. Free parking worked fine as advertised, you get to put your car either in a small parking lot close by or at the harbour next to the hotel. Amazing family-run hotel, made us feel right at home, cozy-feeling even though it’s not a small hotel. The breakfast was incredible with many options from seafood to cold-cuts to eggs to fruit and a huge selection of deserts.

We had a fabulous stay, the staff really could not have been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The bikes were brillliant for getting around locally. The food was wonderful, the room was spotless. Thank you very much indeed, we would definitely stay again.

The hotel is at a nice place, close to the beach, where you have your own sun bed based on your room. The room is old looking, definitely a 3 star hotel room. So is the bathroom, where the shower is so small, it's not adult size. The breakfast is repetitive, it's okay but you will get bored on the third day. The parking is horrible, you can't park your own car, they take your keys and park somewhere...

The room was good, with enough space, but the bath was not so good - the shower cabin was so small that I couldn´t move myself in there (and I am not a very big guy). Room was clean and modern, with a very large balcony. We are on the fifth floor and had a nice view. The location was perfect, two blocks from the beach. Breakfast was the standard as expected at these hotels. The rooftop bar and pool were great.

Good staying at this hotel for one week with all inclusive accomodation. The food is not so varying but the quality is good. Quantity is enough. Very near to the beach and to the city center. There is noise during the evening especially if you are in the dependance. Rooms are clean. Very useful the usage of bicicles and for who has kids there is a reserved area where they can play.

Great hotel in a beautiful place! Stayed here for six days in September, had a lovely time in Lignano. The room was not too large, but comfortable enough for two. There is a large balcony with a coffee table and chairs to enjoy the view with a glass of wine. We ordered package dinners and the meals were very good for their price. But the best part is that the hotel gives bycicles to ride for free...

the parking place are not the best (to small) = damage

My wife and I and our 2 dogs had a really good time, the hotel is located 100m as the crow flies from the free dog beach where, unlike many other places, dogs can bathe. We took advantage of the hot tub on the roof every night just before sunset, available to customers for free. Recommended place and where we will return

That hotel is ok, but definitely not 4 starts. Maybe just swimming pool was very good. Breakfast was everyday limited and the quality of the products was cheap.

There’s nothing obviously BAD about the hotel. However, the wifi was unuseable and the breakfast left a bit to be desired. It’s good for a quick sleep but not exactly a resort stay. Convenient to the beach at least.

The strong point is certainly the swimming pool. The structure is quite dated and needs modernizing. Superior room with old furniture, noisy air conditioning. Few sockets in the room, bathroom to be renovated with plastic curtain, improve the structure in general. The breakfast service is practically non-existent and not comparable to a 4 star. Nice hotel, but very family oriented, so not the best for a newly wed couple.

The food is amazing, the breakfast is plentiful and has a good variety, the servers are all smiles and good mood. The pool is also a blast, squeaky clean, good temperature and is of adequate depth. The rooms are a bit dated, but who cares, you're at the beach anyways.

Very pleasant experience! The hotel is close to the beach and the pedestrian street. We caught bad weather for swimming in the sea, but we didn't get bored at all, we drove 11 minutes by car to the zoo, 1 hour by car to the aquarium. plus clifftop walks, pedestrian paths. absolutely everything was wonderful. Had a great week here, lounged by the hotel pool the entire week. Always free sunbeds so no rush to get one in the morning, and a hot tip that i think the hotel should advertise better is that you can order drinks, toast and pizza straight to your sunbed by the pool. Rooms very perfectly cleaned every day by the very efficient cleaning staff.

Excellent family holiday with kids and dogs, in a good location (the beach is one street away). Amazing owners and staff. Pool and nice bar, the rooms are comfortable. Wide selections of breakfast, and the menu at the restaurant is fenomenal, specially that they are serving gluten free food if you ask. We are coming back every summer. Thank you guys.

Have searched a while for a hotel to stay in Lignano and I don't regret my decision at all. The hotel is modern, the rooms are everything you'd expect and all the staff is super nice. It's close to the beach and to the promenade in the center of Pinetta. I enjoyed my holidays a lot here and will return as soon as possible.

Nice hotel. We have stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are clean . The breakfast has a large variety of food and the terrace is a plus . The hotel had a parking lot also. The hotel staf is helpful . Keep up the good work .

Beautiful facility and wonderful location

Had a great stay at Hotel Irene! The mattress was very comfortable, and I slept well. The room had air conditioning and a fridge, which were both convenient. It was a bit small, but perfectly fine for a one-day stay. Breakfast had a decent selection to start the day. One great bonus is that you can get a bike for free to ride around the area such a nice touch! Overall, a solid choice for a short visit
