What a nice experience!

Huge continental breakfast with hand made cakes (delicious) and several options among sweet and salt.

Spa included - such a big treat for a perfect after-sky time.

Couple of mins walking from city center, by restaurant, shops and grocery.

Kitchen area (masterly hidden) en-suite, with fridge, induction stove and dishwasher.

Free parking on site.

Our family’s Easter holiday in Italy began not with a postcard-perfect sunset, but with a test of patience. After landing at Milan Airport, what should have been a simple car rental turned into an unexpectedly long wait—2 hours and 45 minutes slipping quietly into the night. By the time we finally set off and reached Relais Fior di Bosco, it was already 11 PM—well past the official check-in time.

And yet, like a lantern left glowing in the dark, the hotel was waiting for us.

Despite the late hour, we were welcomed with warmth that felt deeply human, not procedural. The family who runs the hotel had kindly stayed up to ensure our arrival would not become a problem, but rather the beginning of something gentle and memorable. After a long, tiring journey, that small act of consideration carried immense weight.

April in this region still holds onto the tail end of winter’s chill, but stepping inside the hotel felt like crossing into a different season altogether. The air was warm, comforting, and quietly inviting. The interior, though not modern, carried a timeless elegance—classic wooden textures, carefully preserved details, and a sense of history that hadn’t been erased, only lovingly maintained. Everything was impeccably clean, striking a delicate balance between age and care.

What truly defines this place, however, is its people. Being a family-run hotel, every interaction felt sincere and unforced. There is a kind of hospitality that cannot be trained, only inherited and nurtured—and here, it was evident in every smile, every gesture, every quiet effort to make us feel at home.

That first night, though it began with delays and fatigue, ended in warmth and gratitude. Relais Fior di Bosco was not just a place to sleep—it was a soft landing, a gentle beginning to our Italian journey.

A good breakfast with a wide selection of dishes and good coffee. We had an apartment with two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, induction cooktop, refrigerator, glasses, plates, etc.). The owner was very friendly. The rooms were large and clean. The parking lot is small, but you can park your car safely. Unfortunately, the sauna is not open in the summer. The hotel is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters, so you have to drive several kilometers uphill on winding, narrow roads. The hotel offers beautiful mountain views.

I stayed at this property for a week with my husband, and everything was perfect.
Superb breakfast, spotless room and linen change, on-site parking, and the spa was a treat.
