Holiday IV Gardan in Riva del Garda

Checkin was decent. The guy at reception was very friendly and nice. I was given a room which was like a small apartment and was exactly what I saw and booked however there were a few flaws. The apartment was across the garden and not in the main hotel. While I booked four days I was not told my room will not be cleaned for the entire duration. The toilet was freezing and no change of towels or floor mat was not really what I expected. Sleep was excellent. HOWEVER on day three at 7 am construction guys came and started working exactly below us and it was a nightmare the entire day. Very very unacceptable. Should always tell us. I am giving three stars only because the first two nights were comfortable. I checked out a day earlier as had an alternative and threw my fourth night away as could not bother bearing the construction. As I had an alternative I chose it. I told the guy at reception about this but he was unbothered about this and made no effort to explain or say anything. I understand it is low season and the hotel was only open to the fair customers but I paid an amount of 700 Euros or something like that for the four nights and expected a quite stay and not an earthquake construction with drills and cement mixers at seven in the morning.
