Nickel and dime everything. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at approximately 1000 Euros a night and hotel was still charging for everything imaginable. Beach towels, you get 1 per person at check-in and if you want to change them for fresh ones, its 5 euros per towel. Really...also, beach chair rentals are ridiculous. 50 euros for 2 chairs for a half day. We had no balcony in our apartment, and...

The hotel is elegant, quiet, and located in a beautiful area. The service was exceptional and the breakfast was complete and very well served. The only downside was that the pool closes a bit early, so we couldn’t enjoy it when we arrived. Still, a lovely and relaxing place—highly recommended!

Nice design and convenient location. Noices from the other rooms and corridor were easily heard. Watch out if you are staying on a weekend. There was a loud party on the top floor with high noices all over the hotel. It did not stop until sometime after midnight.

Everything about this place from the location to the rooms was amazing. Staff made our lives so much easier and helped us navigate our ferries and travel, gave us a late check out. 10/10, one of the best places I have stayed, highly recommend, would stay again

Loved this hotel. It was a pleasure to come back to after hot days at the beach and exploring the nearby coastal towns. The rooftop bar was a great way to enjoy aperitivo in the evening.

Lovely and authentic family hotel in the historic part of Chiavari. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool area is nice and the restaurant has some good local options. The staff is of high level of hospitality, shoutout to Rebecca and Aaron. I was there almost an year ago in May 2025 but keep recalling the nice stay and good time I had in Monte Rossa.

Lovely hotel, very central with good parking good location for the train station with easy reach of cinque terre , the staff were very helpful with anything you needed advice on, the restaurant was very good but a bit on the pricey side but nice for a treat & one night of excellent entertainment, pool area very good , would definitely recommend

Well located property with clean, spacious rooms. Nice and quiet yet central to everything. Loved the breakfast! Fresh, tasty and personalised care was taken in the service. Authentic, traditional Italian food and coffee were presented by lovely staff. Very helpful team. Highly recommended.

Convenient location. Close to town square with a lot of restaurants and shops, also close to the beach. They do provide reasonable priced family rooms. Close to Lavagna station, easy access to the regional Savona-Sestri Levante train line.

Excellent and extremely friendly hotel in a perfect location for the centre of lovely Lavagna. The restaurant is superb with more modern and adventurous food than we found elsewhere in Lavagna. Highly recommend.

Room is nice enough, only had a few complaints but they wouldn’t stop me from staying again are: -there was no actual mini fridge, just a wine fridge and nowhere to plug it in. -construction woke us up at 7:30 one day and cleaning woke us up at 8 another day. Fine private hotel. Staff is welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is fine as well and they have nice terrace for lunch or dinner. Location is very close to train station. Parking is not that hard 200m from hotel on a small square.

This hotel is excellent for a 3 star. The room was comfortable with a terrace, the service very good and the cafe had a superb selection of sandwiches, cakes, croissants etc with friendly staff. It is ideally located beside the cathedral at the centre storico and a few minutes walk from the beach and train station. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel! I have stayed several times at the Hotel dell'Orto and it has always proven to be the best. Extremely courteous staff, excellent cleanliness, rooms furnished with a lot of style, breakfast takes place in the pastry bar located inside the structure, and what can I say: impeccable! It was clean and hygienic, but a bit old, especially the rooms, which were quite old and the beds were worn out. There was a free shuttle bus to the airport, which was a 5-minute walk away. The breakfast was very so-so. The rooms were small by European standards. The only advantage was that it was close to the sea.

Location 20km from Porto Fino. We stopped here for one night while we were driving from north west to north east so you cannot really judge the location. Breakfast was nice inside an old typical house with very nice views. Room was quite ok, but the TV happened to be too small and out of position because you can't see it properly from the bed.
