Hotel Caravel in Vasto

Renovated hotel close to the sea. Our room had a balcony with a side sea view, air conditioning, a fully equipped bathroom, and an electronic card lock. Overall, it's an excellent hotel: just steps from the sea, including the hotel's own private beach, impeccable cleanliness, even in the common areas, and good food. The portions are generous and the food is tasty. You can choose your menu directly from a simple app on your phone, or alternatively, they bring it to your table the evening before (choice of three first courses and three second courses). We really enjoyed the breakfast, which was plentiful (especially dessert) and made with fresh products. Drinks like coffee and cappuccino are prepared directly at the bar. For lunch and dinner, there's a vegetable buffet in the center of the room. Service in the restaurant and reception were excellent. For the price we paid, we were more than satisfied.
The only two suggestions: install a footbath and a shower (also for a fee) in the beach club, as it isn't equipped, and increase the menu options for celiacs who require gluten-free options.
Ultimately more than recommended.

This is our third year staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, and the owners and staff are very friendly. The only drawback is the lack of amenities, showers, and bathrooms on the beach.

What can I say? A truly beautiful, quiet place, very close to the sea. The owners are very helpful and the staff are very courteous. The food is very good and tasty, the chef is excellent, the waiters Giulio, Giorgia, and Marzio are excellent, the cleaning is excellent, the rooms are clean and all renovated. We enjoyed our stay at this property. The rooms were spotless and functional, the food was good, and the staff was fantastic. A few more amenities on the beach, especially for children, would be nice, but the owners said they are planning to improve this in the future.

We returned to Como after two weeks in this hotel where we were provided with an attic room on the third floor with sea view and completely renovated with furnishings, both in the bathroom and in the room, of a good standard.
The welcome was excellent and never fails, both from the owners and from Sara and Valeria.
The practicality of the Appho App for booking breakfast, lunch and dinner is an excellent choice for convenience and avoiding waste, both in terms of paper and food. The rich choice of dishes was the host for the duration of our stay: a course of fish, both for lunch and dinner, was never lacking.
The courtesy of the dining room staff cheered us up every day, also giving us information regarding the characteristics of the various dishes chosen by us.
With regard to the beach, from the first day, we were welcomed by Luca, a person very attentive to all the various requests of the customers of the Caravel hotel as well as always being in a good mood, involving us with his sympathy: the beach is in fact well equipped but, above all, clean like the rest of the beach, the city of Vasto and Marina di Vasto !!!
We therefore feel obliged to thank all the staff of this wonderful hotel with the wish to improve further by aiming higher and higher !!!!

Nice hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The furniture is new and the hotel has obviously been refurbished not long ago. Excellently maintained, very very clean. We stayed on a half board basis, with breakfast and dinner. Breakfast with sweet and savory, good dinner (through an app you can choose between three dishes for each course). The beach is only 200 meters away, there is also a private beach with a reserved umbrella included in the price.
Bathroom not large, but comfortable and clean. At least one shelf is missing to put something. Good value for money, in our opinion.
