This place was so nice, just like the Booking Ad.; but better too. Breakfast was fresh and handy in the kitchen for us every morning. The place was so clean and new looking. Parking was across the street and right in the historic area. Parked and walked everywhere. Tip, there is al large car park about 1/2 mile away for long term free. Ask.
Host met us and made sure we got the keys and got in.

I stayed at B&B Solimo during a journey by bicycle of ‘the Wolf’s Lair’ route of Abruzzo. I was forced to come down to Sulmano due to a broken spoke, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! I called the B&B owner in the morning, and was received attentively and warmly a little while later. This allowed me to charge, shower and relax, which is really what I needed after a few days of camping out.
The B&B is wonderful. Nice owners, good reception, free wifi and warm, cozy bedrooms with well-insulated walls and windows. A wonderful view from my room. I had airconditioning in my room, too. The breakfast is typical sugary Italian style, with coffee. I’d recommend to include at least soya yoghurt or milk for those with other than regular preferences. The B&B is located exceptionally well, close to a great pizzeria, little supermarket and bike shop, as well as some places for sightseeing.
The owner is an avid cyclist as well and was able to provide me with great route tips to get back into the mountains. So I had a pleasant welcome, a pleasant stay and a great departure.
100% recommended for a break from Wolf’s Lair, and worth the descent and ascent in and out of Sulmona ;)
