Dolci Notti in Bari

Noisiest room I have ever been to. Didn’t sleep for two nights straight. When I pointed this out showing recordings of the noises from the bathroom pipes, broken AC, and elevator which was next to the room, the owner to make it up to me was kind enough to offer me to leave my luggage “for free” until 1 pm at their office which was 15 minutes under the rain walk from the bnb. Also room smelled strongly like cigarette. Won’t go back.

It's bad. You can hardly find worse accommodation. A former apartment that has been divided into rooms. There was a musty smell in the dark room number 5. This room had a small window above the bed - facing the stairwell, where the light kept coming on at night and where the elevator was moving loudly. The other two windows in the room and bathroom could at least be opened - towards the inner courtyard, but it smelled terribly there. Disgustingly sweet and chemical-like. This courtyard was covered and hermetically sealed from the outside world. In other words: neither day nor night could you let even the slightest breath of fresh air into the room. Completely, completely terrible. Downright dangerous to health. There were also a number of other shortcomings. Never, never again!

We chose this B&B primarily because of its central location, which is truly convenient for exploring the city on foot without the need for transportation. However, our overall experience was less than satisfactory. The rooms overlook an internal courtyard covered by a transparent canopy that creates a strong greenhouse effect, making the rooms extremely hot even in April. The air conditioning is practically ineffective: on or off, you can't feel any difference in temperature. Furthermore, the bedroom door doesn't close securely, leaving a sliver of light that contributes to a sense of limited privacy. One of the rooms has exposed pipes, causing the constant noise of running water to be annoying. Soundproofing between the rooms is also virtually nonexistent, making it difficult to sleep. The pillows are particularly uncomfortable and should be replaced. Another issue to consider is the automated door-opening system via a cell phone link: if your phone runs out of battery while you're out, you risk not being able to get back into the building. Finally, we note the complete lack of human interaction with the host, which makes the stay very impersonal and less welcoming. With some improvements, both structural and managerial, the B&B could certainly offer a better experience.

Stay far away from this establishment if a balcony is important to you.

Keyless check -in not an option for non european guests. No internet .

The kind of place that hides holes in the wall with art in weird places, and tries to hide awful smells with air freshener that makes you want to throw up (can only imagine how bad the smell must have been that they were trying to cover). This is an office space converted to rooms, with makeshift bathrooms. Run down, filthy, and without any facilities (a snack dispenser in the hallway says it all!). No actual person runs the place (but a company?), so also feels cold and unwelcome. Be aware, the photo's online are photoshopped. All that is said in the negative reviews is correct!
Only thing that this place has going for it, is its location.
