Authenticity and hospitality a stone's throw from the places of interest in Salento.
We stayed in this authentic farmhouse for a week, receiving a free upgrade to a wonderful suite.
Right from the start the owners were available and welcoming, they gave us the best advice and made our stay fantastic. The authenticity of the structure reflects that of Elisa, Girolamo and above all Violante, the daughter of the owners, who won us all over with her eyes and smiles.
Everything is superlative, from the salt water pool to the poolside loungers, from the rooms to the breakfast, carefully prepared by Elisa every morning.

An authentic and welcoming experience at Masseria Violante in Ruffano

My stay at the Masseria Violante di Ruffano was an authentic dive into Salento traditions and hospitality. This charming family-run agriturismo has managed to offer a genuine yet comfortable experience that has left me with a deep sense of appreciation for the beauty of the region and the warmth of its people.

Girolamo and Elisa, the owners, were wonderful hosts. Their kindness and helpfulness made our stay even more pleasant, always ready to respond to our requests and make sure we felt at home.

The dinner offered on the first evening was a culinary journey through local specialties. Each dish clearly reflected the passion for cooking and attention to the quality of the ingredients. The breakfast, an abundant mix of home-made sweet and savory foods, perfectly reflected the local tradition and gave us the right energy to start our day.

The masseria itself is a place of absolute beauty, combining the rustic elegance of the structure with the modern luxury of its comforts. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't kind during our stay, so we were unable to make use of the swimming pool, which looked like a perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

Despite this, our stay at Masseria Violante di Ruffano was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Salento experience. The genuine hospitality, the delicious cuisine and the enchanting setting create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future, perhaps with more favorable weather to fully enjoy all the wonders this masseria has to offer.

We booked our accommodation for our holiday a week before going, and we weren't disappointed. Masseria Violente is absolutely beautiful, a real break away from reality! The rooms are lovely, breakfast delicious and the pool is so peaceful.

The owners are wonderful, so hospitable, and really go above and beyond to make your stay a great one! We had restaurants booked for us every night by Elisa, each different and equally delicious - we definitely wouldn't have been able to find them on our own. We also had a late flight, and they kindly let us stay past check out time by the pool, and gave us one of the rooms to freshen up in before we left...and not to forget the gin & tonic kindly brought to us by Girolamo by the pool before we left! Such thoughtful hosts, we just wish we spoke Italian so we could have aperitivo together one evening!

If there had been 10 stars I would have given those, but I had to limit myself to the five available. Masseria Violante is an enchanting place, made up not only of wonderful rooms, expertly furnished and cared for, but also of three people, Girolamo, Elisa and Violante, who were able to conquer my husband and me at first glance. We were very impressed by the great willingness of Girolamo and Elisa to meet all our needs: they showed us where to eat by booking for us, they even organized an outing on a boat to fish. The position of the Masseria is strategic, as it allows you to reach the most beautiful destinations of Salento in a short time. Last but not least, a thought goes to the sweet Violante who with her sympathy, empathy and intelligence made us spend very pleasant carefree moments. We can't wait to go back.

An oasis of peace, elegant and well-kept!
The farm is surrounded by walls with internal parking, the apartment is very large and clean.
Strategic position to visit the wonderful beaches of Salento.

Masseria Violante is a magical place, where time becomes relative; the atmosphere but above all the welcome of Girolamo, Elisa and Violante, make you forget the beauty of the Salento beaches.
The soft light and the song of cicadas envelop every day that always lasts too short.
Coming back every time is always a new experience.

An elegant masseria with comfortable rooms, swimming pool, and a genuine breakfast, where becoming a big family is very easy.
