At the end of a quiet road. The only thing it doesn’t have is public transport from the hotel to the town. But staff will happily book a taxi for you or you can do what we did and take a 20 minute walk to the centre.

Wonder hotel. Nicely appointed rooms. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. We loved the yellow lab Drea. She was sooooo sweet. Unfortunately located a little far from everything there is to see in downtown Pompeii

Fabulous experience. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. The hotel grounds were well-maintained, and the layout was well-planned, as it's not a large property. Nice hotel in a walking distance from Pompeii. Stayed in a suite with balcony and the room couldn’t be better. But the breakfast included in a price was really bad. Tried to order from menu one day and paid €6 for two overcooked fried eggs, €8 for a few tiny pancakes. In Ireland we have a full Irish breakfast for that price.

Beautiful hotel with all modern features, we had the Superior Room, which is well sized with a king size bed. The hotel is located within walking distance of all facilities - shops, pompeii ruins and restaurants. Make sure you visit their Roof Top, gorgeous view across Pompeii

Perfectly located for day trips and archaeological exploration, with good food and friendly service. We chose HABITA79 MGallery for its strategic location, and it turned out to be the best decision. This wonderful hotel is located in the centre of Pompeii, just a few minutes from the historical site of ancient town. It is a very nicely renovated building with helpful staff and fantastic view from the rooftop bar to Vesuvius and the surrounding mountains. The bar and restaurant staff are exceptionally helpful, I can only recommend this hotel.

Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the back door of Pompeii. The hotel is beautiful and clean, the front desk is friendly, and they booked a good driver for us to go to Amalfi coast the next day.

The hotel was very good although it is not exactly 4 stars as the furniture was somewhat old.

It's very comfortable. It's far away from the road. You can hear less noisy sounds. The breakfast is very good and has everything you need. It's just far away from the ancient city. It costs 20 euros to ask the hotel to take a taxi.

Besides the location and the courtesy, which are the first things that struck me, I must point out that for breakfast it is not true that they only make you eat a croassan/croissant, a gentleman filled the plate and no one said anything, I hope that you eat them all (at some point I never saw him again). The value for money is very good. Yes, if I pass by here again I will stop again.

From the moment I was greeted by Nino, the little Italian dog, Hotel Costa felt like home. I loved this lovely, quirky little hotel! I showered with a view of Vesuvius from my window! The service was exceptional, very warm and friendly staff, and I ate the most delicious homemade food!

Our tour spent one night there and it was so nice! 45 of us and they were very accommodating. Extremely clean and quaint. We had a great dinner and the breakfast was good too. We enjoyed the balcony in the evening as well. Totally recommend.

I had a mixed experience at the Hotel Forum Pompei. The service was good and the restaurant was very nice. But the room was dated and the fixtures were somewhat old. The air-conditioning did not work so my room was uncomfortably warm the entire night. It's just opposite the ancient city of Pompeii. It's very convenient to eat around the commercial street and is also close to a large supermarket. The prices in Pompeii are much lower than other places. The breakfast is rich, the staff are very enthusiastic, and the garden is beautiful. I would recommend it to my friends.

We travelled as a couple to Pompeii and spent a week at the Hotel Maiuri during September 2025. We found the hotel to be much better than expected being situated slightly away from the city centre, but it was an easy walk of 15-20 minutes to the main central areas and the ruins. The hotel has private parking which is quite good for those traveling in rental cars. The room is standard simple and clean. Bathroom is alright, the cubicle doors are a little fiddly but got perfect water pressure. The staff is amazing, friendly and tentative, provided suggestions for dining. We had a delicious seafood dinner at one of the restaurants they recommended nearby!

Hotel Maiuri was a gem in Pompeii! beautiful clean rooms; nice professional staff and a lovely breakfast included. We were able to walk to it from the train station. We walked to a restaurant and had a lovely evening. The ruins were a bit of a hike but our group likes to walk. I would return to Hotel Maiuri without hesitation!

The manager Franzs, I hope I spelled it right, made this an excellent stay. Personally walk us to the room, answered questions, called a taxi when needed and him and his staff checked train and boat schedules to plan a perfect trip. A definate return to the resort. When warmer, wanting to try the horseback riding.

It’s like an oasis within the hustle and bustle of Pompei. Beautiful place, well tended, lovely pool, gardens and restaurant. Breakfast included with our stay was exceptionally good. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Being woken up a crowing rooster and barking dogs somehow added to the experience. Located easy walk from train stations and main historic site.

Bosco De Medici Wine Resort was the perfect stop after visiting the Pompeii ruins! The experience started with a tour of the vineyards, which was much more interesting than I expected — there’s even an ancient Roman tomb inside the property, so it really feels like an extension of the archaeological site. We then moved to the cellar for a glass of their own prosecco (amazing!) before sitting down...

We enjoyed a nice tour of the property, including the vineyards and prehistoric ruins. This was followed by a wonderful multicourse lunch while tasting white, red and sparkling wine. Our servers and sommelier were incredible, very friendly. A perfect spot to stop after visiting Pompeii. We did not stay overnight.

We enjoyed the rooftop view of the mountain. It was a great place to enjoy a glass of prosecco and enjoy the sunset.

We had a great stay in Pompeii at Hotel Zeus. I only wish there had been screens on the windows since there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area. Otherwise the service was great and it’s a wonderful place to stay and very convenient.

The hotel's advantages are its surprisingly close proximity to the Pompeii train station exit and the entrance to the ancient city! Since we were going to Sorrento the next day and didn't need to return to Naples, staying in Pompeii was more convenient. The hotel was also cheaper than staying in Naples or Sorrento. The pizza we ate in the restaurant here was the best we’d had in our entire lives. And I have been to different cities in Italy and ate their pizza a multitude of times. To make it better, the prices are the most reasonable in the area. And the waiter was wonderfully charismatic and gave us a good laugh. The reviews don’t do this hotel justice! Firstly, we stayed here at the hotel, and couldn’t ask for a better room. Aircon was great, room was spacious, and had mini bar (water free but additional cost for everything else), great waterfall shower, decent TV, wardrobe and space too. It had a safe built in which was great to see. The staff in the day were friendly and helpful and great checking in....

It's so close to the entrance to the ruins and go at 9am there. 3 min walk to entrance. The room was nice and great value. I wouldn't spend a week but I think best place for visiting Pompei sites. Great thx to the receptionist for the restaurant recommendations. It's been the best food we had in Italy for best price. I would book again.

A nice hotel with a restaurant attached. The walk to the entrance of Pompeii is about 10 minutes, but when you walk out of the excavation site, you are at the front door again. We also had a view of the site from our room. The breakfast was not great. There was little choice and it left me a bit hungry. Some of the staff are nice, some are quite grumpy.

Excelent location, friendly and highly collaborative staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is above average. Isolation from road noise is very high so not an issue. Unfortunately the parking area is quite small and difficult to get inside if you drive a big car but there is usually enough space in the street, just in front of the door

My review of hotel Giovanna. Normally I write extensive reviews, but in this case it's very simple, the owner, hotel staff and facilities are marvelous. For me, it became my second home when I am in Pompeii. I have stayed here for many weeks over the last few years and will return each time I am in Pompeii. Free parking that is safe. Truly kind night staff employee who has helped us tremendously with figuring out good food places. I didn't feel like anything was missing, the staff was super friendly, and the room I had was perfect for me. Maybe someone could have instructed me on how to use the curtains, but I didn't even bother to ask 🤣 Would recommend, if you are planning to rent a car, there is one service provider just around the corner. Located in a convenient and surprisingly quiet spot in the chaos of Pompeii. The room was well appointed (though our AC vibrated a bit noisily), with phenomenal view of the garden and Vesuvius. Staff was very attentive and prepared excellent coffee. The only issue was the (non)taxi the front desk called for us who charged us €20 for the short ride to the ruins. My fault for not noticing the lack...

The staff were super nice and helpful! The views and the outdoors are very beautiful. The location is relatively close to the center, 10 minutes walking. I gave it three stars because the room we stayed at was pretty old. The bed sheets and covers had some holes and stains on them. I think with some rennovations the place could be much better.

Stop in transit after visiting the excavations, clean and welcoming hotel and room. Convenient internal parking and with a 15-minute walk we were having dinner in the lively Pompeii center (more difficult to find parking). Rested well and welcomed in the best way in terms of information and kindness (never take it for granted).

In definite need of refurbishing. Bathroom had old shower head and casing and door was missing! Security not good as reception not fully manned from 9pm. Only access was by dark car park with open staircase which led directly to all rooms!! However, staff very friendly and helpful as far as they were able.

It's a great location, just a minute's walk from the Pompeii ruins. In addition, the nearest station is close by, so public transportation is easily accessible. From the hotel balcony you can see the main street and Mount Vesuvius. There are many shops open on the main street until late at night, but there was no noise and I was able to sleep quietly.

The room was very small for 2 persons.

Spent a night here after a concert in a nearby town. The host waited for us till late and he showed us our room: spacious, clean, comfy bed, balcony with table and chairs and a big bathroom. The following morning we had breakfast (which was included) and the lady was very nice to me and customised my breakfast. You will also be greeted by two lovely dogs :)

Having just returned from a trip to Pompeii, Italy, we were fortunate enough to have stayed at the wonderful Villa Julia. The room was very well furnished and included a fridge, flat screen TV and air conditioning. we also had an ensuite bathroom. the breakfast was amazing and the owner couldn't do enough for us. What a beautiful place, run by a charm8ng and welcoming gentleman. We stayed in our motor on the pristine site. Clemintine and grapefruit trees were everywhere, and back of Vesuvius was spectacular. Lovely campsite with a very friendly host. We went with 2 younger children who loved the lizards. This is perfect for visiting Pompeii. We were offered to also have breakfast but had our own caravan on the site, so we didn't partake, but we're grateful for the offer. Highly recommend.

Pascal is a lovely person who made our stay comfortable and pleasant, he even arranged pizza for us, took us to restaurants and gave my son a football to play with.
