Superior room was traditionally furnished, large and comfortable. It had an additional sitting & dining area with bi-folds glass doors that opened on to the balcony. This hotel was amazing and the staff were so lovely and attentive. The only thing that could be improved is that the bed was really firm (no mattress topper) but other than that the room was perfect. Excellent property, the restaurant alone is a destination place, and having the hotel located in the middle of the shopping area is positioned perfectly, built on the side of the mountain along the Almafi Coast. Rooms are beautiful and the view is beyond compare .

The room was clean, the location was great, the front desk personnel was professional and courteous, the breakfast was fantastic. The gentleman that was the porter was wonderful, he helped us with the luggage when we arrived from the ferry and got our luggage up several staircases where the cab picked us up to take us to the airport. He was kind, courteous, and very professional.

Everyone and thing was lovely. Truly it was. But the sheets were so rough it made sleeping difficult. It could just be me but a higher thread count would make this the perfect stay.

Couldn’t fault the hotel and the free porter service, as to reach the hotel involved 270 steps. Breakfast was lovely and the view from the hotel well worth the steps. We were also closest to the quieter beach which was lovely. Was just missing a kettle and tea & coffee facilities. We were close to nearby restaurants and was nice to be outside the main centre of Positano but was near enough to visit

We visited La Tagliata 15 years after, for a second time. Mama Luigi was still a star in the kitchen. The food was delicious as usual. Each and every staff member, (always a family member), was very friendly, very courteous and very helpful. Grazie mille La Tagliata.

Love the family This is a wonderful family owned property. They make you feel like you are part of the family. They have their own farm on site and the restaurant was awesome. This place was magical, we stayed in the “Botticelli” everything about this place was amazing! Our trip was cut short due to an accident, they could have not been more helpful, they packed our luggage for us so I could just come back from hospital and grab. I couldn’t recommend this place more! They had the absolute friendliest staff, the rooms were so charming, the breakfast was fantastic with a beautiful view and the area was great. I enjoyed how quiet it was compared to the main square yet it was walkable to get to the main area. I hope to be back here in my lifetime and reminisce on all the great memories we made here!

The location is ideal. Also the view of the balcony on the sea which is absolutely amazing. The receptionist lady sounds sooo formal and serious, actually not very friendly. Cool hotel near a walkable beach, but be prepared for a lot of walking up and down. I thought the hotel was a little too old school for me, but I appreciate the sentiment it gives. The property is pretty but it was difficult to get to from the boat landing with no instructions from the hotel. Felix made dinner reservations for us each night but he always seemed annoyed with us. That made the stay very uncomfortable.

Located 25 minutes away from Positano. Taxis are rare and crazy expensive and the road has no sidewalks, so it can be a bit dangerous. The room was small and simple. When its windy it can be very noisy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Other hotels inside Positano can cost 4x or 5x. Still, I would advise to stay in Sorrento and visit Positano for a day.
