Our stay at Dimora Fornillo was amazing. Franco, Alessandro and Vincenzo were super nice and attentive to details. We sure felt special and would love to come back next year.

Great place to stay while visiting this beautiful city.

This is a small 7-room property that needs renovation, especially the bathrooms. Our shower drain was clogged the entire stay despite repeated complaints; the owner ignored the issue, though the younger staff tried to help. Rooms and furniture are very dated, with the only plus being the view.
Also, the “7-minute walk” claim is misleading—it’s more like a 15–20 minute hike up 300 steps.

Loved it!!!
Loved it!! It is up 1,000,000 stairs but so worth it! Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, we met the owner too and he was great. Beautiful views from the property and very central. Send you good instructions before you check in and help with getting your bags there.

Cool hotel near a walkable beach, but be prepared for a lot of walking up and down. I thought the hotel was a little too old school for me, but I appreciate the sentiment it gives. It’s just not my cup of tea. Had a porter that helped me with luggage during check in and check out. Very good customer service and would recommend this to people.

10/10 stay. Amazing staff and room views with the best little garden for breakfast. The walk to the beach is about ten min down the steps. Delicious pizza restaurant around the corner on the road.

Absolutely amazing hotel in Positano. Very spacious room with a really great terrace and view. The property staff were very friendly and helpful. It does take a lot of stairs to get to and from the hotel but that is basically anywhere in Positano. Free breakfast was nice and convenient. Only downside to this hotel is that the internet connection in the room is terrible, little to no connection, other than that, amazing property.

Amazing place to stay! Nice healthy breakfast, incredible views from balconies and gardens, nice sized rooms. Not too fancy, but very charming. Need to be in good shape, as the hotel is only accessible by a few hundred stairs either up from the beach or down from the main road. Fornillo area is about a 15 minute hilly walk to the central Positano area, which we liked because it was a bit away from the crowds.
