One of our favorite days was spent lounging by the ocean and swimming in the Mediterranean away from the crowded beaches. The staff at the hotel were kind, courteous and more than hospitable
Beautiful hotel at the waters edge albeit 300 steps up! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good wifi - able to stream/FaceTime. Located just steps from the town centre
We loved our stay at Hotel Marincanto!! The location was close to everything, easy walk to town and restaurants. But more than anything, the staff was excellent
This hotel made our stay in Positano a couple of the best days of our lives! Service was amazing in every location - lobby desk, lobby bar, breakfast, pool area, beach area, parking lot - just amazing in every way
Our room was incredible overlooking the clear blue sea and views of Positano were magnificent. You will not be disappointed staying here! Total luxury with gorgeous views!
Excellent service and Friendly staff throughout the stay. Peter was an excellent bartender! Accommodation where amazing with the best view!

Every facility is exceptional: the gorgeous pool, the iconic beach with its world, famous tennis court, the spa, the gym, The endless terraces and overlooks that invite you to relax and recharge
The concierge and reservations team took care of everything perfectly from the moment we made the booking (even allowing us to shift the days due to our circumstances without any issue) we were also upgraded to a larger room which was a nice surprise
All the services from restaurant bookings including transport and recommendations, where to shop in town were given clearly. The best managed property we have experienced everything was immaculate
Magical in every sense , pure heaven for those that appreciate quality service, food, pampering and stunning views. It doesn’t get any better. Room 14 for incredible views of Positano.
Overall if anyone wishes ultra luxury yet friendly and quality service this is the most recommended hotel you could stay at in the area and that blows the competition away
The views from all areas of the hotel are stunning and the location being outside the main part of town allows for a quiet relaxing experience

Walking down to the beach is one of the most scenic walks and took about 20-25 minutes eating gelato etc. Reception was very helpful and curtious
The property is located in an ideal place in Positano with a great view from the balcony and walkable access to nearby dining places, beach, ferry service and the central area with shopping
The rooms were much larger than we expected. The whole facility was immaculate. The staff was amazing and parking was very convenient. What this town needs, however is a few more stairs
The location is very good, you can see the panorama, the photo spot in front of the hotel is a must-see, and within 5-10 meters walk around, there are several very good restaurants🍴, but the condition of the hotel itself is average, and the rooms are hygienic The cleaning was not tidy enough, and I found used slippers at the foot of the bed
The hotel boasts a fantastic bay view and even has a balcony with a view! The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive and complete. The front desk staff are warm, polite, and happy to answer any questions
The breakfast is very plentiful and I would definitely stay here again

The hotel is in an amazing area. Quick walk from ferry and close to shopping and restaurants. Gorgeous beachfront views and easy access to beach. Food at restaurant was good but service was a little lacking there
The staff speaks English and are super friendly. But the view, beach, private garden makes this space our favorite in Italy. We can't wait to come back for a longer trip in the near future
Room was basic and the shower didn’t have a door so it wet the entire bathroom when you turned the shower on. Aside from that, we had a great stay. The dinner menu was excellent
The hotel restaurant service was excellent, offering fresh fish daily, and the food was delicious.
The private beach was relatively quiet; the beach chairs in the first row need to be booked in advance.
Very simply rooms but youre paying for the location. Great beachfront location with the beachclub directly attached to the hotel. Beach here is the best as not as busy as the main area
Absolutely wonderful place to stay. 5 minute walk to Positano center. Hotel is extremely clean and beautiful. Right on the beach. Great view from room. Great food. 10/10.

Be ready to walk up and down steps to get to dining, shopping, the beach and public transportation options. The breakfast, although very similar every morning was good enough to get a good start on your day
We were also closest to the quieter beach which was lovely. Was just missing a kettle and tea & coffee facilities
It was amazing the hotel is centrally located and very clean. It is close to the beach and fantastic restaurants. I would highly recommend the hotel. However there are lots of steps to get to the beach
It’s a bit tucked away (as is everything in Positano) but I would suggest doing your search for those who have mobility issues. Porter service was incredible as well
The staff was so helpful with navigating transportation and directions! They even made us coffees to go and let us take a little bag of goodies for breakfast during our early check out. Beautiful property!!
Hotel Vittoria was such a pleasant experience. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the view from the balcony was A+

Pool is lovely and has pool bar staffed, beach access very comfortable, includes menu of food and drinks. Water taxi available for pickup from Positano pier is so helpful
There’s also a private beach and a boat taxi to the Positano port, but both close in October, so keep that in mind when booking your stay. The gym doesn’t open until 9 a
Incredible views from room and terrace. Staff were wonderful, friendly, always wanting to help with whatever you need. Breakfasts were wonderful, incredible selection, view and live music each day
, which might be a little late if you like to work out early. Overall, a decent stay with stunning views and good amenities — just plan ahead for transportation and seasonal closures
Rooms are large and well furnished, the breakfast is excellent (forget about your diet) and the beach area (accessible with the funicular) is a hidden jewel
The views from this hotel are absolutely incredible, and the heated pool is a great bonus! It’s located a bit outside Positano’s city center, but they do offer an hourly shuttle bus

A delicious breakfast included as well. Note : Water access however not at a sandy area - must jump into the water from a ladder. Small beach one can swim to easily but it’s somewhat rocky like most Amalfi beaches
This was multiple families throughout the two weeks. People can be very inconsiderate, and made the beach club way less peaceful than it should have been for what we paid
The way this hotel was built and designed is just unbelievable in every way. Just walking around the property, and down to the beach, is just such a unique experience
5 Star experience - will be back!
WOW! what an experience, not just a hotel, they have it covered from every detail to make this a 5 star vacation! Loved staying in Praiano instead of Positano
I’m not saying make it an adult only hotel, but I certainly would not complain at all. Also not having a shuttle to Positano and only to the center of Praiano was slightly inconvenient
This is the greatest hotel I have ever stayed at. My wife and I spent two incredible weeks at GHT for our honeymoon. The staff, views, and amenities are just out of this world

They suggested us things to do around the town and helped us book everything. The room was super comfortable with amazing room service. It had a jacuzzi in it which was fun. Best hotel we have ever stayed at hands down
The rooms were clean and plenty big. The service is especially good. The staff are all so wonderful and you can tell it’s family run. They went out of their way to drive guests up and down the hills
Communicating using WhatsApp was so easy and they were so helpful. Breakfasts were good and the restaurant served good lunch and dinners too. The Amalfi coast isn’t easy to get around but the staff made it easy for us
Especially Matteo, who very kind and patient with us explaining how to get to the path of the gods
Another big plus was the location - purpose of our trip was Path of the Gods to Positano and returned by bus
The accommodation was beautiful - we stayed in a twin room for 2 nights and one of the apartments for 3 nights which had a fantastic outside space with private hot tub and was very peaceful
Our stay exceeded our expectations!!! Hotel easy to find and parking made the arrival easy. Warm welcome with complementary prosecco. Our room (deluxe) was perfect

We loved our stay here! Quieter than Amalfi and Positano but could easily get to either town with the city bus or water taxi.
It's a very difficult journey for those using public transportation, but it's a wonderful place. The room interior is lovely, and breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the beach
The beach right in front of the hotel feels like a secluded spot and is absolutely stunning. The Praiano ferry terminal is right in front, making it ideal for heading to the next tourist spot
The drinks were perfect and the special treats he provided us were beyond generous. He made our day at the beach truly memorable! Grazie Mille Arturo, we appreciate it! The Zaghetto family

Room was very comfy and cleaned everyday with fresh towels
However, towels were dirty, and the shower blinds were broken. Service was great with 24h reception available. Parking is not included and available for 10 Euros per day behind the hotel
The staff is so friendly and helpful! Also, the room was very comfy and clean, and the breakfast very good! The location is perfect, just next to the train station and good restaurants in the city, so perfect for holidays
Great location near the station and buses. The room itself is small, but the view from the window was of Vesuvius, which is very beautiful. Breakfasts were very good, with a wide selection of everything, including fruit
We had lovely rooms with wonderful views of Vesuvius. The breakfast was very good and the service excellent. Vico Equense is much quieter and more ‘Italian’ than Sorrento. Lots of good restaurants nearby
But the shower was inconvenient: there were no shelves for toiletries, only an overhead shower, and the door was flimsy, so water leaked out. There was also no complimentary water; you could only buy it

It overlooks the sea and mount Vesuvius in the distance. The jacuzzi is available to book for free for 40 minutes at a time but we didn't end up using it as we prefer the beach
The sandy beach was gorgeous with lots of loungers which we took advantage of most days. There's also some reasonably priced bars and cafes close by to keep you hydrated and some clean toilets
The train station is just across the road, which was very convenient for getting into Sorrento (15 minutes). We also took the train to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum (you need to change trains for Herculaneum)
What was exceptional about this hotel was the staff. Everyone, without exception, was so kind, patient, friendly and helpful. The cleaners, the reception staff and the team in the dining room
My husband and I have just returned from a two week stay and cannot praise this hotel enough. Our room was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. The bed was enormous and comfortable

The elevator to the beach is such a thoughtful and convenient feature, it made everything so much easier
One small suggestion: it would be even better if the sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels on the beach were included for hotel guests without an extra fee. Other than that, everything was perfect from start to finish!
There's a private beach but the only way down is to take a lift

The quality of the hotel overall was superb. The multiple floors for relaxing in the sun right down to the pool area. Such a relaxing place to stay. Room was perfect, clean well appointed and spacious
The design and atmosphere are stunning, and the team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We dined in the restaurant downstairs every day, where we enjoyed expertly prepared fish dishes — truly a culinary delight
This includes not only staff at the property, but also drivers the hotel assigns. Thanks to all the staff, including Stella and staff at front desk, staff at the pool/restaurant, and so on
Lovely hotel, staff was great. Only two small notes - we had a lot of ants in our room and the wifi was pretty terrible. Fortunately we didn’t really need it. Otherwise 100% recommend.
The resort is an immaculate oasis and nearby towns of Vico Equense and Castellammare di Stabia provide an opportunity to enjoy more authentic experiences alongside bucket list items

Great train links to Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Napoli. Boats to Capri, Positano, Sorrento depart right outside the hotel. - Beach & Poolside: Beach was rocky but lovely (sea shoes recommended)
Cons:
- Pools: Misleading advertising—only one usable pool (a saltwater pool in the beach club), open to the public and with no shallow end. The other pools shown belong to the spa and to use them cost extra
Beach toys/inflatables available. Drinks reasonably priced—cocktails good value. - Tennis: Free grass court (worn but playable), rackets and balls provided
- Resort Feel: Good if you just want to lounge around pool and beach and eat/drink in the hotel
- Apartment: Clean, spacious, with a beautiful terrace and stunning bay views. - Shuttle & Transport: Free hourly shuttle with a friendly driver. Last return at 10pm, but the 15-min walk via steps was easy enough
- Food & Costs: No supermarkets nearby, local restaurants pricey. Hotel breakfast €18 per person, way too much for continental. Limited snack options, only at short lunch service

Liked being in Meta - easy to get into sorrento and take excursions
Perfect option to start your vacation!
Great hotel, with wonderful beach access, as well as a great roof top terrace.
We loved the closeness to the water without losing the access to the village.
If you want to have either a first line lounger and umbrella you have to pay 30 euro per person. 20 euro if you want second line on the beach. However, we noticed non-hotel individuals entering the ‘private beach’
The first day at the beach was horrible because the beach and the water were filthy. Granted that is beyond the hotel’s control, nevertheless our daughter even commented on the trash
It is hard to get to and you have to learn how to use the bus system, which luckily is easy to navigate and the best cost option. Taxis are ridiculously expensive. And most request cash payments
The rooftop turns into a club on Wednesdays and Saturdays with very loud music. Also, the walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors. Our superior triple room was ‘tight’
