The staff at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating. We loved the variety of restaurant options and the view at breakfast looking over the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius was stunning! We found it easy to get into Sorrento via train (a 10 minute walk, followed by a 10 minute journey) and we would not hesitate to come again. A true 5 star experience!

This hotel was perfect for a stay on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is in vico Equense, only a 13 minute train into sorrento (the train station is right outside the hotel) where you can go explore or get other transport from sorrento to positano, Capri and Amalfi. Just back from a 10 day stay in Hotel Oriente. We stayed last year and returned for another stay. While the rooms are spotless and comfortable and location is excellent we have certainly seen a little deterioration in the hotel. Located on a cliff overlooking the sea. Room 503 was a lovely room with views of the bay however it was noisy as we had constant noise of tables and chairs being dragged across the floor of the floor above. We stayed in the apartments they were basic but clean and pretty. The beach was wonderful as well as the pool. It would be hard if my grandbabies came because there isn't an area for littles in the pool (too deep). However we will return because it really was a great place to stay.

I didn't like it, the room I booked was not the one I was given, the heating stopped working at night and started working again in the morning. I believe that other rooms are more comfortable, but the one I stayed in was very small. I don't recommend it.

This hotel is located halfway up the mountain. If you are not driving here, I would not recommend it. The manager of this hotel is arrogant and unreasonable. I don't know if he treats Chinese people this way or everyone else. His tone is very uncomfortable. When we checked out, we found that their front desk was flying the Israeli flag. I hope everyone can avoid it.

The hotel is pretty clean and we had a good view. However it is extremely inconvenient for transportation. Immensely ! There’s a local bus that passes every hour and it’s not reliable. The Laqua Countryside is an excellent boutique hotel. Our family rented two rooms and they were both very nice. The breakfast was served by hotel staff and it was wonderful. The owner was fantastic in the service, super helpful, gave us several tips for tours, as did the rest of the staff. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

The property has an amazing ocean view and it is a quiet place. It is a little bit difficult to find the area, but the view is worthy and amazingly beautiful

We stayed at this beautiful hotel. The staff had informed us of a coach company to book for our transfers prior to our stay. We arrive and the reception staff were amazing. They were friendly, professional and helped us navigate to local areas. The room was compact, but was very clean. Every day our beds were made and our pyjamas were folded. The restaurant staff were amazing, maria was fantastic....

Fantastic stay! We had a lovely stay at Torre Barbara. We loved the views, our spacious room, the terrace with the restaurant and the outdoor pool. But more than anything the service and the attention from all the members of staff - friendly, corteous and caring! All of that more than outweighs a little bit noisy road just near the hotel and the challenges of parking and driving on the Sorrento peninsula...

Breathtaking views Beautiful setting with a wonderful restaurant. We ate there for breakfast and dinner and both were exceptional. The hotel is convenient to Sorrento, with breathtaking views.

Brakfast was great. Dinner was good too but a bit slow the service. View from the pool is outstanding My room did not have view but my brothers did and it was breathtaking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Is conveniently located between Naples and Positano. They offer shuttle services and tours that are more affordable. They clean your room every day. I would definitely recommend and would stay again...

Amazing host, beautiful view, comfortable bed and nice hot shower. The breakfast was perfect they fed us really well and helped with local guidance for where to park and take the boat to Capri the next day. 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful breakfast made by owners up in the cool mountains. Need your own transportation and able to handle narrow roads. Absolutely the most restful get a way possible. Lived it!!

Located in the hills above Sorrento, can be reached by scooter/car , it offers an amazing view of Vesuvius. The ride there on a scooter might not be for everyone, however we loved the whole ride experience. Maria was a perfect host, very nice and helpful with local information. Clean, large room. All in all a great stay!

Fantastic owner in Maria who was so helpful throughout the stay. Fantastic views and good location to explore all surrounding areas...Good bus route through to vico equense or hire a scooter if you don't mind the manic roads in italy. Fantastic breakfast too plenty to eat to keep you going throughout the day. Can't recommend it enough
