Damè in Salerno

Pluses:
- clean, luminous, good taste in design, balcony
- supermarket across the street
- 10 or 20 minutes away from everything (train station, harbour, downtown) (I know for some it might be too much)
-3 minutes away from bus station (for Amalfi Coast)
- location is excellent to taste the local atmosphere
- small fridge in the room
Minuses:
- noisy because of all the traffic outside
- same limited breakfast every morning; don't get me wrong, it's enough, but some variety does good especially if you're staying there for a whole week like we did
- owner sits with you while having breakfast - it can be a bit intimidating though a good opportunity for some conversation

To enter, you must have internet access, as all access points are accessed via a link. It's a bit complicated. Excellent cleanliness, and the bathroom has all the necessary amenities. You only have contact with the lady who serves breakfast, which is quite basic.
The location is good for visiting the Amalfi Coast, as the Sita bus terminal and ferries are nearby. It's also close to the train station.
To reach the historic center, you have a 30-minute walk, which is made short by the lovely promenade.

Excellent B&B, located in an area within easy walking distance of the city center. Spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean rooms with air conditioning and a TV, as well as Wi-Fi and a mini-fridge. Noise-cancelling windows, an excellent bathroom, and a generous, high-quality breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owners are always available to provide any information. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property, and will definitely stay here again.

Just returned from three fantastic days in Salerno. The room is brand new, spotlessly clean, spacious, and has everything you need, as is the bathroom. The owner is very kind; she waited for us to check in even after hours. In the morning, a welcoming and courteous lady prepared breakfast for us. Everything is within walking distance, and the city center and the sea are very close. We couldn't have asked for more.

Amazing hotel, rooms are well kept and clean, location is pretty good for traveling and visiting other places.
