Al Porticciolo in Salerno

Place was very clean, service was friendly, location right on the beach. They made sure I had what I needed and made me feel at home. Had a full kitchen to prepare your own meals

Everything was superb!
We arrived at Salerno station, and the owner Francesco was very kind in picking us up with our luggage.
Upon arrival, we found the room to be extremely comfortable, modern, very clean, and welcoming, equipped with every imaginable amenity (including a super-comfy mattress and pillows and a complete bathroom kit, including intimate soap!). Leaving the apartment, there's a door leading to the seafront on one side and a door leading directly to the beach on the other.
But the real gem of this B&B is the owner Francesco himself. Always available and friendly, he made us feel at home and also treated us to delicious chocolate rolls and the best apple pie we've ever eaten.
We sincerely hope to return next year!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We chose this B&B because we had quite a few kilometers to travel to Sicily with our 5-month-old baby, so we didn't have any particular expectations. Despite this, we were thrilled to have chosen this option because everything was perfect.
Francesco welcomed us as if we were family, helping us find parking (no small feat), and then escorted us to our room. He explained how everything worked and even suggested a few places to eat.
The room is very spacious, with a small kitchenette equipped with a fridge, oven, coffee machine with capsules, and a kettle. The bathroom was also very large with a very nice and comfortable shower.
The room smelled wonderful and was very nicely decorated. On the bed, we found a basket with towels, adorned with a bow. I really appreciated this because it's the small details that show the love for one's work and the attention to the customer.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, it felt like being on a cloud, and my son slept like a log after sleepless nights at home (I think I'll move here 😂).

A special mention goes to the pizzeria across the street; their pizza was spectacular and easy to digest.

The only downside is that the room faces the street, so you can hear a bit of noise, but you just need to close the window. And someone—I don't know if it was the other tenant or someone else in the building—kept slamming the door. Luckily, as I said, my son snored soundly.

I think if we ever return to Salerno, we'll definitely come back because we felt so pampered.
