I can not recommend. You get a room inside of someone's apartment. Felt very strange.
There was hair in the sink, in the bed and on the floor when we arrived.
Rented a room with two beds but only one was made. When asking for bed linen for the other bed we were told it was €5 extra. The sheets were made on top of a plastic cover that was uncomfortable and loud.
No English speaking staff.
When leaving for a bit we left the bed lamp on but when we got back it was turned off. Not nice knowing someone has been in the room.
Plus for speedy wifi, location and a/c.

Exceptional hospitality 😍 The lady is extremely kind, she welcomed us warmly, even leaving us a little souvenir. The room is extremely clean and functional, complete with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and warm!!! There's also a coffee maker in the room and a lovely welcome.
I'll keep it in mind as a reference point in Salerno. I highly recommend it!!
P.S.: Very central location, just steps from the main street, and well-stocked.

The welcome was warm, and the owner is very kind and helpful.
The room has everything you need for a stay; it's furnished and not bare.
A surprise was the presence of a "book" with all the basic and general information about the city and its surroundings. It even includes information on ferries, buses, and trains for connections throughout the area. There's a luggage transport service to the station, recommended restaurants and pizzerias, and useful phone numbers.
There's a mini fridge stocked with water and a welcome drink with coffee and herbal teas, a TV, and heating/air conditioning.

Never lived in a communal apartment, thank God, but I saw it on TV. So this is a communal apartment. A large apartment with several separate rooms, each with its own bathroom, but zero soundproofing. The landlady is nice but very demanding about the regime and energy saving. There is a kettle and a capsule coffee maker in the room. Breakfast is an exaggeration, a cup of coffee and a croissant in a nearby cafe, tasty but not enough. And it is very cold, the air conditioner does not heat up in the heating mode, the ceilings are high. You can spend the night, it is inexpensive, clean, but far from the station.

The room itself was similar to pictures, staff were very nice, location was generally pretty good, however there was an issue with cleanliness. Upon arrival we immediately noticed the floors had not been swept, as with cleaning of the walls due to the dead spider smeared on the wall. We also noticed fruit flies immediately when arriving which is strange because we did not have any food with us nor was there in the room. Beware that while staying here you will be woken up early by either other guests nearby or the intense drilling of the auto shop directly below the room. If you like to sleep in, this may not be the place for you. On night 2 we noticed bug bites on our feet, below sock and shoe line, and there were often silverfish on the wall. If you are someone who is afraid of insects or dirt, this may not be the place for you. Although staff were very accommodating and the room and location looked as promise, I personally would not come back due to the circumstances regarding cleanliness.

Our room was nice and clean and conveniently located for walking. There was also an onsite manager to greet us and was available as needed. A pastry and coffee was included at a nearby cafe which was nice. For a city stay this was a good place for us to stay.
