POSITIVES:
LOCATION:
This accommodation is right in the middle of the city. In the evening you can hear the hustle and bustle, the soft noise of people having dinner and walking, which is not disturbing at all.
CarefourExpress (a grocery store with a wide range of products) is a 5-minute walk away.
Breakfast cafes in front of the house and in the neighboring streets offer a variety of breakfasts.
The train station is a 10-minute walk away.
The ferry port is a 20-minute walk.
The best beach (Lido Aurora): 30 minutes walk, but only 15 minutes by bus (the ticket in 2023 is only 1.2 EURO)
CONDITION:
The romantic vintage style of the apartment is charming.
The bed is huge, as is the room. 2 separate air conditioners cool or heat the apartment.
SERVICE:
The shower gel and soaps smell very pleasant and are of good quality.
In the middle of our 8-night stay, there was a free extra cleaning, the time of which could be agreed in advance so that it would not be when we were staying in the apartment.
OWNER:
Our host welcomed us with extra towels and welcome snacks, and also filled the fridge with mineral water.
We are extremely grateful for the recommended restaurants, and the timetables and prices of the transport options (ferries, buses).
The owner was constantly available on WhatsApp and responded quickly to our questions, even those not related to the accommodation.

NEGATIVE:
The WiFi does not work in the bedroom!!! This could be solved with a WiFi amplifier or an extra modem.
There is no TV in the bedroom.
There is no kitchen (sink, coffee maker) and no cutlery.
The shower cabin is small.
The kettle was unusable because it was very limescaled. The cleaning could be much more thorough. The fan needs to be vacuumed after every guest! It was so dusty that it is slowly becoming a fire hazard. The limescale filter in the bathroom faucet needs to be descaled! Until this is done, the water will splash onto the furniture and - as you can see - ruin it.

Book it!!! You will have a great time!!!

We had a fantastic stay at La Maison du Paradis. Pasquale and his wife were excellent hosts. Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. He checked in on us several times, gave us info about the buses and ferries, dining recommendations, maps, etc. He even arranged a cab back to the train station for us.
The listing pictures are accurate and the apartment is in a very nice, old building with an elevator. It has a great exposure and we got lots of natural and afternoon light through large windows. We stayed in October and used the bedroom A/C at night; Each room has one and in the summer I think they’d keep the apartment plenty cool.
The apartment is close to lots of great restaurants and gelaterias, shopping, both ferry ports (and therefore the water) and the train station.
The kitchen has a full size refrigerator with water, fruit, yogurt, and milk, a Nespresso type coffee maker and coffee pods. There even was a bowl of local oranges for the juicer. The bed is super comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower with doors that close and storage.
All in all we had a great stay. So if you’re thinking of staying in Salerno, stay at La Maison du Paradise and have Pasquale and his wife be your host.

What a beautiful apartment and extremely kind host
Our experience with Pasquale and his beautiful apartment was exceptional. It was in a beautiful building in a perfect location very safe and clean. The apartment was very spacious and Pasquale left us a beautiful full breakfast for the morning. We will definitely be coming back.

Let me start by saying how hospitable, knowledgeable and kind Pasquale is. He greeted us out in front of our B & B and spent quality time showing us our room and t alked about the surrounding area. Salerno is the perfect place to stay and visit all the hot spots (Amalfi, Positano and Capri are just a gorgeous ferry ride away from the port of Salerno. Only stayed for 2 days but wanted to experience an apartment style stay in Salerno. The owner was beyond helpful and a pleasure. The property was immaculate. Easy and walkable. Beautiful

The owner went of their way to help. The fridge was stacked with great breakfast food. The apartment had plenty of room. The only downside was the street noise which was very loud.

What an excellent choice La Maison du Paradis proved to be during my first trip to Italy this September. I was greeted by the lovely Pasquale my host, who was already waiting for me on my arrival. Very reassuring. A little history made a nice introduction. The apartment is set in a delightful building with its own story. Accessed by lift is very helpful. Nicely decorated and considerately furnished with the traveller in mind. The fridge is generously stocked with supplies for breakfast and hydration. Pasquale & Giusy provide excellent hospitality front of house and behind the scenes and non-intrusive communication to ensure everything runs very smoothly. I felt very priveleged to have stayed here and it will be my first choice when I return to this area on a future ocassion. Grateful thanks. Sharon

The owner of this property was very helpful and communicated with me before my arrival, during and after to be sure we made it to our next destination. The photo on the site is the view from the B&B window. Steps from the beach. Steps from the port. Steps from city center and steps from excellent restaurants. 10/10 would stay there again.

Pasquale was extremely welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. The apartment was very nice and close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay.
