Although my husband and I consider ourselves avid travelers, we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast, until now. This place was an absolute delight. Margrita is a wonderful host: she rose early to pick up our favorite croissants, prepared incredible breakfasts and coffee each morning, and offered thoughtful recommendations as we chatted about the day ahead. The property itself is spotless and incredibly comfortable. It’s close enough to the city center for convenience, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and secluded. We loved enjoying a local beer on the patio, surrounded by lemon trees and the distant sound of church bells. Truly a hidden gem.

We had the best time staying at Mario Relais. We felt so welcomed, the room was spotless, the breakfast was fantastic, and the host went out of her way to help us with all our needs. I would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing B&B and even better hostess!
Mario Relais and her amazing host; Margrita made my stay even better than I had hoped. From ‘finding’ me on the street when I thought I was lost (I missed the very clear sign) to a warm greeting, to delicious and fresh breakfast…well I cannot wait to return to Sorrento.
It was an easy walk to the historical center and Margrita offered many suggestions on things to do.
I would highly recommend this location for any amount of time in beautiful Sorrento.

Margrita is one of the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. She made my entire family feel like her home was our home. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Everything was within a 10-15 minute walk. She said that she loves what she does, and it shows!

Our stay at Mario Relais was perfect. The room was updated, clean and bright. Margrita was an amazing host, from welcoming us upon arrival to her wonderful breakfast. Our stay with her in Sorrento was a highlight of our trip and we will definitely be back.

Amazing stay at Mario Relais. The owner was really nice and gave me a lot of tips about what to do around Sorrento. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was amazing with good quality products, delicious cheese and fresh tomatoes.

We only stayed 2 nights but this was by far our favourite accommodation during our 2 week trip to Italy. Margrita was so welcoming and really warm. We had 2 early mornings while staying, so thought we would miss breakfast, but no! Margrita was up and ready to meet us at 7am with a packed breakfast both mornings! It's these sorts of little things that can make a stay really special. The room was spotless and really well equipped, get recommendations were excellent and the accommodation is an easy walk to the centre and the bus station, but far out enough to be quiet at night. And we met her lovely old cat Cesare. We can't rate B&B Mario Relais highly enough! You should definitely stay here!

The location is excellent, very close to the Vatican Cathedral. The service is very good. Our two rooms that were originally on different floors were moved to the same floor. Very considerate service.

Took my dad on a trip to Italy for his birthday and the first night of our stay couldn't have gone better here. Margrita was so welcoming and friendly, offering us a glass of juice or water upon arrival. She then gave us a plethora of different croissants to choose for as part of the breakfast. There was a classic course of buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, then a flavoured croissant, and a plate of fresh fruit. The other people staying there said it was the best breakfast ever, and to be honest, I agree. The rooms were incredibly tidy and neat, complete with a fridge to store water for enduring the heat (air con worked a treat, and there were also complimentary water bottles on our first night). The views from the little balconys in the common areas were beautiful overlooking the lemon trees. The location was great, about a 15 minute walk to the beach, which was perfect for us as we were out of the hustle and bustle. And about a 10 minute walk from the station when we arrived. All in all 10/10 honestly, and I don't usually leave reviews but felt the need to do this place and margrita justice! 😊
