Hotel D'annunzio in Cattolica

The breakfast offered by the property was plentiful and varied, with a good selection of products to suit different tastes and needs. It was certainly one of the highlights of our stay.
The property's location is particularly convenient: it's in a quiet, well-connected area, with parking nearby (about a 5-minute walk), which was very convenient.
The staff was always courteous, helpful, and ready to assist with any needs, contributing to an overall more pleasant experience.
Furthermore, the property has an agreement with a partner hotel that offers additional services, including a swimming pool, a gym, free bicycle rental, and a panoramic terrace. Although I didn't have the opportunity to use all of these amenities, I really appreciated the terrace, which was ideal for relaxing.
Unfortunately, the room's cleanliness was not up to the expected standards. We found considerable dust under the bed, on the bedside tables, the wardrobe, and the headboard. Furthermore, there were numerous hairs scattered throughout the room, including the bathroom—particularly on the toilet and bidet—a clear sign of poor hygiene.
Upon arrival, the toilet paper had already been used and was almost completely empty, and the toilet clearly did not appear clean or sanitized. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a persistent odor of smoke, despite the room being designated as non-smoking, which immediately made the environment unpleasant.
Structurally, the assigned room showed obvious signs of wear: it was furnished with dated elements, and unlike other rooms we glimpsed during cleaning (which appeared recently renovated), this one was visibly unrenovated. The front door was warped, so much so that it did not provide adequate soundproofing and allowed light to filter in from the outside corridor.
Finally, we would like to point out that the photos published on the Booking page did not entirely correspond faithfully to the reality of the room assigned to us, generating a completely different expectation than the experience we had.
