Hotel Garden Riccione in Riccione

Wonderful place to stay, very close to the beach and good access to transport as we visited Misano circuit for the world superbikes race. The staff were really friendly and Antonella was so helpful. The room was clean and had all we needed. The only downside was the hotel is noisy and with thin walls you hear all the footsteps and doors banging. But that aside we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were always cleaned so nicely. We would visit again.

My wife and I spent ten days here in 1961 and had the times of our lives. The owner was Gino Conti, who treated us like royalty. I had a Fiat Millicenti (1100), which needed a bit of maintenance and Gino insisted on going with me to the garage, whereupon he read them the riot act in advance. This is the first time I have tried to find the place (Pensione Garden at the time). Everything still looks about the same. We stayed not in the main building, but in the smaller one directly across the small street. It was a wonderful experience!!
