Hotel Mamy in Rimini

The hotel in Rimini offers a good overall experience. It is well located near the beach and public transportation. The rooms were clean and functional, and the staff was polite and professional. Breakfast provided a reasonable selection, though it could be busy at times. Overall, the hotel delivers good value for the price and meets expectations for a comfortable stay.

I returned yesterday with great regret because I would have stayed many many more days but unfortunately due to work I couldn't... first of all I'd say that the structure is a bit dated and needs a lot of work but despite all the staff are wonderful cleanliness is excellent and the owner of the hotel "Vittorio" is an extraordinary person who is always available and kind. I didn't have any problems... in fact there was one... excellent cuisine, especially the breakfast which in the morning I never knew what to choose from the many there was a choice... I don't want to burden myself because I'm terrified 🤣 however I highly recommend it and I repeat the structure is a bit what it is but you can turn a blind eye in the end it's a two star 😉

We have just returned home today after a one-week stay at Hotel Mamy. We loved every moment and already want to go back!

Check in was simple thanks to wonderful reception staff. We were able to check in early and we were kindly offered a lovely espresso to enjoy during our short wait! The receptionists are knowledgeable & kind - any questions you may have they will endeavour to help you, with a smile!

The rooms are basic but offer a lot considering the cheap price - a small TV, lots of storage for clothes and shower with constant hot water. The best part is a lovely balcony to spend the evenings and watch the picturesque street below. Also worth mentioning, the air con and safe are available to use free of charge! The beds are made every day, bathroom tidied & fresh towels when required - the cleaner is a lovely lady too! Always a smile and a wave.

Compliments to the kitchen team - the food is absolutely AMAZING! Breakfast offers something for everyone - hot drinks (cappuccino, chocolate, etc) & cold drinks (tropical juice, cranberry juice & water). Lots of pastries, choice of breads, jams & spreads, cereal, yoghurt, meat, cheese, fruits, eggs, bacon & sausage. Sadly, we missed a few dinner services due to being out of the hotel exploring Rimini and beyond (dinner is at 7:30pm) but every dinner service we did attend was completely wonderful! Two courses, plus dessert. This tends to be a choice of pasta, followed by a choice of meat. These are brought straight to your table by the very kind wait staff - they are so fast, attentive & smiley. There is also a buffet offering a range of sides to accompany your meal - salads, veg, potatoes, etc. All so delicious - you must give it all a try!

The location of the hotel is ideal. The metro is less than a minute walk away. Go across the street to Cafe Paradise to buy tickets - you can buy a 10 journey pass for 12 euros or a day ticket for 1.50 euros. These can be used on the metro AND the bus! The metro comes approx. every 10 mins into Rimini city centre. ALWAYS use the metro or buses - they will take you anywhere you need to go including to the Rimini Train station for further connections!! We made a mistake during our first/second days and paid for taxis which are very expensive and not necessary. Also, many opportunities to rent a bike or scooter if that’s what you prefer! Meanwhile, Bellariva beach and lots of shops / restaurants, are all less than a 5 minute walk away. Despite the hotel’s centrality, it is located on a quiet street so you won’t be disturbed by noise.

In summary, Hotel Mamy makes a wonderful base for your holiday. They offer 5* service and 5* food at the price of a 2*. You will feel home away from home here. Please don’t let any negative reviews put you off - try with an open mind and you will see!

Great price. Nice hotel a few steps from the sea. Satisfied with the staff who were very welcoming. Abundant breakfast and the rest of the food was also excellent. Adequate rooms with a beautiful view of the city.

Not Perfect but reasonable comfortable for full pension. Room has balcony and it is clean and cosy. There is one thing for rooms it’s bathrooms is so small.
