Mercure Rimini Lungomare in Rimini

Our stay at Mercure Rimini Lungomare was overall acceptable. The location is not bad, but since we visited during the off-season, it was hard to fully experience the atmosphere of the area.

The hotel itself feels quite old and is definitely in need of maintenance and renovation. Cleanliness could have been better as well. However, the front desk team was friendly and helpful, and the aperitivo welcome was a nice touch.

The staff are clearly doing their best, but there are several areas that could be improved.

I stayed at Mercure Rimini Lungomare during the TTG Rimini event and had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious with a large terrace offering a nice partial sea view. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of the commercial street — close to restaurants, shops, and the beach.

Breakfast was good with a nice variety, and the staff were polite and helpful. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient 4-star hotel, ideal for both business and leisure stays in Rimini.
Weaknesses / Areas for Improvement

Pool size & capacity: The pool is relatively small; in busy seasons it may feel cramped.

Parking constraints: The underground garage is convenient but limited, especially for large vehicles.

View limitations: Lower-floor rooms may not have a full sea view despite being marketed as “sea view.”

Air conditioning in hot weather: A few guests noted that in warmer months the AC might struggle to keep rooms very cool.

The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and some nice restaurants. However, I was on the 5th floor which required carrying luggage up an extra flight from the first floor and wifi could not reach the room. You could also hear partying from across the street in the room. Other than that the air conditioning was good and the room was clean so a pretty good stay if you aren't too picky.

We've got a room on tue 1st floor with a small balcony (it was positioned as with a large terrace). However the personal is great, administrator Martina is amaizing and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic with a lot of fresh fruits. Location is also great.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night, reserving two rooms, one for my children.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink, which included a choice of wine, bruschetta, small sandwiches, and cookies, which was a delightful touch.

One point to note is that if you are driving to Rimini and staying at the hotel, you will need to present your passport for check-in before being granted access to the parking area. Additionally, the entrance to the parking space is located directly behind the building, so you will need to take a longer route around the neighboring alley to reach it.

The hotel's location is excellent, with direct access to the beach behind the hotel and a roughly one-kilometer walk to the old city. There are also numerous restaurants in the vicinity.

The room size was adequate, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean, with a shower that had good water pressure, and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.

The lobby conveniently provides a water dispenser, which means we won't need to bring our own drinking water.

Overall, it is a good hotel with a great location.

Stayed 2 nights here. Lovely room with a balcony and sea view. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location 20m from the beach. 20 min walk to the station ( or no11 bus, stops 100m away)and 25min walk to the old town.

The actual bed type does not match the booking, which causes great trouble

Clean, well appointed and comfortable room in a food location. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Elisa who showed me places on a map.
