Residence Hotel Piccadilly in Rimini

I did not have a great experience in the hotel. If you come for a holiday and have a family, it probably makes sense. Here are the good things: It is relatively big, with a kitchen, large fridge, a lay out that allows to have two separate sleeping areas. And if you pay some extra you have a nice view of the beach. Also prices are reasonable and it is located across a supermarket, bank, pharmacy, lots of restaurants and great walking path along the beach. BUT here are the downsides. Internet works well in the part of the room that is close to the hall, not so well in the bedroom near the sea. I arrived end of September to find out that they stopped air conditioning as of September 23rd. The room was stuffy and, if you open the window it is noisy with restaurants and bars having loud music. The walls between apartments are thin so expect to hear your people next door's waking alarm or laughing next room. Staff is OK, not more, and the furniture, towels, etc. are old and could be renewed. I will not go back.

The location is perfect if you like the beach. But: as of September 23rd they stopped A/C so if you wanted fresh air you could open the bay window. However, it is loud outside. Internet was not stable, particularly in the bedroom. In the kitchen and living room it worked better. Staff is variable, some very nice, but not always. The walls are thin so you can hear what goes on in next room. The room itself are old (mold in the corridor). Location is great, lots of restaurant nearby, a great supermarket across the street, pharmacy, taxi. post office, ice cream, etc.). The apartment is spacious and can accommodate 4 people. The bathroom needs some upgrading. Price is reasonable during mid season. I would not go back and do not recommend for someone traveling for work.
