Hotel Oasi del Mare in Rimini

My wife and I stayed here for 11 nights in June and saw the hotel move into its busy season which was exciting to see how dynamically the hotel and staff accommodated being at capacity.
The staff here are amazingly helpful and friendly, special thanks to Micael, Nico & Eva for all their assistance and pleasantness throughout.
- the hotel is located ideally for travel by bus to Rimini and Riccione and is within 5mins walking to the beach/promenade
- There is a Parkrun on Saturday’s at Marecchia Park for anyone who enjoys social running and we found we could easily get there with time to spare by catching the bus (11) from the end of our street at 8am.
- The hotel offers a ticket of free entry for the duration of the stay to Beach Village, an acqua park that is a 10-15 mins bus ride towards Riccione and is a must for thrill seekers and families with young kids
- The hotel offers a fantastic breakfast with homemade cakes and pastries, milk alternatives, toastie making facility/ x2 coffee machines (bean to cup). You choose your meals for lunch and dinner and there is a fabulous variety of Italian regional specialties. We particularly liked the swordfish and dishes with mussels as the sea food is very fresh due to hotel locality.

What is to know so as to know what to expect of the area: after a long day of travel you are likely to be greeted by an incredibly lively atmosphere (from 8pm) which surrounds the hotel created by passers by in the streets and guests of neighbouring hotels, there are competitions of dance and groups put on award ceremonies near by, karaoke machines and evening dances taking place on the terraces in front of hotels. This is not a negative point about the hotel’s location as many people will come to the area looking to enjoy this vibe and when you have the right level of energy to engage with the party vibe you will also have a good time as we did for several nights in a row, Just do not expect the surrounding party to clam before 11pm and passers by may be loud beyond midnight when returning to their own accommodation or those returning into the hotel may also be loud and disturb the peace within the hotel where noise carries due to the interconnected stairwell that is also very beautiful, light and airy.

Overall I would rate the hotel and the stay at 9.5 stars out of 10 for superb location, wonderful staff, value for money. The staff really made the stay a pleasure and treated us more like family than guests.
