Hotel Tiglio in Rimini

I had made an agreement via phone and email for a room (with the owner who explicitly asks me not to stop the room with booking). He tells me that it is mine even though it was still written that it was in the works because they had a lot of work to do (I had already accepted the quote). At 11pm the day before without even a call from them I find myself by chance on the email and I see that the reservation is canceled, I call for explanations they tell me that it was taken by someone else and that they can do nothing but apologize. A star is a lot.

Kind, helpful and friendly up to a point.
We booked a month before, with a day service room worth 20 euros in the estimate, so as not to go away by 10:30 to free the room and enjoy at least half a day at the beach more. We have communicated via email for a long time precisely for this availability, discarding any nearby hotels that did not offer this service. At the time of payment, the evening before departure, we were given instructions to empty the room and leave the suitcases in it, which they would then move them. At the beginning of the afternoon, we return to the hotel, we ask which room was reserved for us ... And we were told that they did not have a room and that the previous accommodation room had already been occupied by a couple who arrived early. They invited us to change into a service bathroom (we were still in wet swimsuits), and then we left.
For charity, good food, cleanliness and prices, but it was not professional to guarantee a service when booking, only to be told at the last minute that they could not provide us with what was budgeted and paid for.
Refund of the room immediately but holiday ended with a bitter taste in the mouth and much earlier than expected .. Like 6 hours earlier. Thank you.
