This hotel has a perfect location, near the train station (5min) on the main road in front of the harbor with a nice view, near the center with shops and restaurant all around. Good breakfast on the 5th floor with the view, you can also drink and eat sometjng rooftop (even if only in the weekend). Great view from the room with ocean view. It was a bit of a walk from the reception in a tunnel, a bit of a faff. Whole place looks and feels quite dated but is kept clean. Shower strength is on the strong side but is cramped, dark, door doesnt close completely and has no place to put soap, so a bit lacking. We stayed at Grand Hotel dei Cesari with our 3 young kids and I have to say we had a fantastic time. The pool is well looked after and a safe place for the kids to play. The sea and the water was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are vintage but well maintained. Food was simple but clean and tasty. All staff were friendly and kind. This hotel is past its best and stuck in a 1950's time warp. Clean enough and breakfast was ok. Don't expect to use the pool as it had no water in it but the beach is across the road. Stayed just the one night on the way to the airport after trip to Monte Cassino.

Loved the private pool/beach. Nice and clean rooms. Rented a car for the weekwe where there, so everything we wanted to see, Was within driving Range. Great hotel for ppl like us, with No need to live in the central part of Rome.

Everything we wanted and a bit more. Great location, friendly and helpful staff and a beautiful beach to go along. The only thing I could complain about is that I booked only one night.

5 stars i could stay forever! The staff is excellent. Art deco style hotel. Beautiful room. Clean. Great air conditioning. The hitelnis across the street from a perfect beach area. One side is private beach rent a chair. Next to the free beach. Clean and beautiful beach. Many delicious restaurants. Night life is fun and safe. Great for families, or traveling singles.

good for short staying. Easy to reach, like everything in Anzio. No major problems, when more clients maybe even hot water is availeble.

We only stayed one night on our way to Florence. The rooms were nice and we had a great view. We did not get to experience the area much but it seems like it would be a great place in the summer.

The nicest thing was the sea view from the balcony. The lights did not come on in the hallway until you started to step into them. It was pitch black and I did not like this at all. The room was not a luxury room , as advertised, it was very small and poor bathroom design, and poorly furnished. Right across the street with access to a private beach. Ample parking (off season). Front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Book a balcony room - worth it.

We spent a night here and visited Anzio/Nettuno. Great hotel we had a balcony over looking the beach. The beach was spectacular. The staff were great. Breakfast was good. Building is a little dated but well worth the price especially considering the location.

Highly recommended for an Anzio visit This hotel has a great location, beautiful view of the ocean, quiet part of town, easy driving to the centre or a long walk along the promenade. Free on-site parking was a pleasure. Breakfast was substantial, staff were helpful and efficient. The room was comfortable and spacious with a small sea-facing balcony.

Nice hotel, overlooking the Mediterranean. The only problem we had was that the hotel restaurant did not open at 7:00, as advertised. After waiting outside the locked restaurant door for 10 minutes, we decided to head out and find another restaurant. (Fortunately, there was a great restaurant close by.) Everything else about the stay was great.

The room is nice and cleaned. Have a nice view of the beach. But the I don’t like about our stay here are the breakfast and the staffs are not friendly to even gave us smile or greeted us back. And also not near the train station, there’s a shuttle buses but the receptionist don’t know the scheduled time.

The room was comfortable with a great view, a pleasent 10m walk to restaurants cafes etc. Staff are outstanding. As no taxis available one drove us to station in a storm. That is customer service. It's not a flash place but earns rating for kindness

I’ve stayed here with my family and it’s amazing. A short walk from a amazing beach. The hotel pool is lovely and quiet. The staff are fantastic. They are so accommodating helping us. Feel relaxed. No one bothered. Facilities are 80's but hoteliers are friendly even can't speak english but enough to get what we wanted. The best part was : be accepted as local people. Great for a stay on holiday. All rooms have a fantastic sea view. The staff is superb and always willing to go the extra bit . Fresh fish caught locally and cooked in the hotel kitchen to your choice is just the ticket. Car parking and decent free WI-FI are available

Fairly priced hotel with spacious clean rooms, air conditioning, high-quality breakfast, and sea views. In less than 20 mins you can reach Anzio city center. The only one con is the noice from the road.

Great little hotel, lovely owner, breakfast very nice with a great view. The roof top pool was particularly nice, and actually well heated for once! Sea view rooms have a lovely balcony and view. Highly recommend, will likely stay again!

Only For One Night. The mattress is uncomfortable, the bathroom outdated. Convenient because in the city center.

The hotel was centrally located, staff was very helpful and let us leave our bags at the desk after checkout so we could walk down to the beach and the port before catching our train. We were comfortable in our room which was clean, and when We closed the windows and shutters, was quiet. Breakfast was limited but the items were fresh. This is not a luxury hotel, but gave us good service.

For several years in August, for about two weeks, my wife and I have been staying at the "La Bussola" hotel in Anzio. We are very satisfied with the service and the welcome given to us: it feels like home.

Beautiful old style hotel , family castle like building with authentic interior furniture, doors etc. Nice and big swimming pool with friendly staff. Staff speak English but little extra English courses wouldn’t hurt- however they try hard. Thank you

Excellent facility! I stayed at this b & b last weekend and it was a surprise! A small jewel located in the historic village of the splendid neptune which for the Christmas period is made even more beautiful thanks to the magical lights😍 cleanliness, courtesy, attention to detail are the strength of this "favor" in the center of neptune! I recommend it and I hope to be able to return to stay there...
