Hotel Riviera in Anzio

The check in was very poor, the hotel had nothing to offer not even a map of the area or any recommendations. My requests were brushed away being told that would involve them checking and when asked to change the room I was told the hotel does not do that!! Surprising because it was empty, the least they could do is ensure in an empty hotel to allocate a good room and hope to get a good review! The bath room was ok and looked new but it was not cleaned well. As for the rest of the room the sea view was the best part. When joining two twin beds to make a double they could least use a mattress topper in 2025. The first day the breakfast was covered in mosquito. Second day was better. But in a hotel that offers no service just room and a very basic breakfast some attention to detail and effort could go a long way.
