This place is an absolute nightmare. The bed was covered in hairs, the food is disgusting, completely inedible and to make matters worse, my friend found cockroaches crawling around his room. You even have to pay for WiFi, which barely works. The only remotely decent thing is the view of the sea, but even that can't make up for how horrible everything else is. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This place has been shut by the police. We turned up today to find a notice on all the gates saying so. Do not turn up. Do not book. If you have get your money back asap.

Worst hotel in 2 months of travel. Dirty, old smells, bathroom had mold walls had blood. Resturant attached had horrible food. Both breakfast and Supper. No A/C had to keep door open to outside to get any air moving. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Should not be on trip advisor

So let’s get started on the longggg round about review I’m about to leave. I came her expecting a decent time knowing the price I paid. The food within the hotel was great, flavorful, rich everything you would expect coming from Italy. But what lacked was safety and somewhat service. The front desk was lovely, smiling faces every morning etc I was here for a week. But the first day I arrived without being provoked, I haven’t even said a word I was up at the bar with a friend and was made fun of by how I looked and then was threatened because I was to “feminine” that certain groups were big in the area and that I could be “taken out back and taken care of” I didn’t tell anyone about said experience till after the fact . Hopefully since it’s been a few years the guy who did this has been fired since but yea, this has prevented me from ever returning to this town ever.

Great view from the room with ocean view. It was a bit of a walk from the reception in a tunnel, a bit of a faff. Whole place looks and feels quite dated but is kept clean. Shower strength is on the strong side but is cramped, dark, door doesnt close completely and has no place to put soap, so a bit lacking. No safe in room but appare safe service available at lobby (which is a walk away). Private pool and terrace with sand had nice atmosphere.

We stayed at Grand Hotel dei Cesari with our 3 young kids and I have to say we had a fantastic time. The pool is well looked after and a safe place for the kids to play. The sea and the water was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are vintage but well maintained. Food was simple but clean and tasty. All staff were friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend it and come back to this property. Thanks for the unforgettable stay ❤️

The hotel is old and very outdated. 2 towel racks in our bathroom that if you simply touch them, they fell apart. Bed was hard, only allowed one towel. Charged 2 euros for a bottle of water. Charged to use the pool or weight room.

Our room was as clean as it could be given the age.

But being so close to the beach was just amazing
