We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this hotel was and the staff were very friendly. Old world charm. The pool is lovely and the perfect temperature. I loved that the windows opened and you see the sea on the distance. The breakfast and coffee choices were superior. There is a tennis and pickleball academy nearby, Lupatelli, in which you play by the hour. Lovely grounds also.

Beautiful old style hotel , family castle like building with authentic interior furniture, doors etc. Nice and big swimming pool with friendly staff.
Staff speak English but little extra English courses wouldn’t hurt- however they try hard.

Ancient looking but modern in service and very clean. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. I look forward to visiting this place again. I feel I am in an historic place when here.

Hotel in the middle of nowhere. No access to bars or restaurants. The nearby restaurant belonged to the hotel and the food was not good. We could not get a taxi from the station but for 10 euros the receptionist picked us up. Reception had 4 small dogs in it which belonged to the hotel and the carpet stank of dog urine. We thought we were going to find an Old Italian hotel. It was shabby and dirty. We were in the annexe in a superior double which was far from superior. Small and dingy with the hardest bed I have ever slept on. That was when I slept the air conditioning kept you awake. The toilet seat was broken and if you sat on it your knees bashed the shower which was mouldy. Breakfast was awful nasty ham and cheese. Toast and pastries. The pool was empty and the site has conflicting dates as to when it is open. In fact only open for 6 weeks a year. We booked for 4 nights and left after one and happy to pay for another hotel to get out of this one.

The area is very clean and beautiful, the staff is wonderful!The Staff gave me a free ride to the station since my mother and I arrived without a car. The rooms are very clean, cleaned every day, a bit far from the sea if you don’t have a car, 20-30 minutes on foot! The store is close. The only minus was that they didn't warn us that the pool was closed

Although a restaurant was advertised it was/is permanately closed. Buffet breakfast was lacking in refills

Terrible food. On the first evening we got some french fries and some frozen food. Disgusting. No taste at all. It is hard to say if it was meat or fish. The next evening we got something like two chopped leaves of lettuce and a piece of meat. Notging else. The rooms were really stuffy. As a group of teenagers they asked us to pay a deposit for our stay. In case we break something. If we wanted a remote control to switch on the air conditioning, we also had to pay a deposit for it...

Bad food. Pool open only 9am to 7pm, and it was not clean. Service was good, and rooms were ok. Supermarked is close.

The rooms are really old-fashioned and low budget. The meat was unseasoned and foul. I hardly noticed lettuce and fries on my plate. It's gross. The price is to high for such inconveniences.
