The room was vintage and the plumbing gurgled all night. Floors were not fully cleaned. Certain food items ran out a couple of hours early. Staff tried to be friendly and helpful but claimed to be unable to address shortfalls.

The staff was great and very helpful. Great customer service. The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complain is the room air conditioner did not work properly, it would constantly turn off until it failed. The swimming pool needed service. The hotel is a old style hotel but very well taken care.

It listed a gym, there is no gym, listed a pool , it did have one with no water in it, second pool was roped off with green water and cats using its a a drinking fountain, location is kind of far from the train station and very far from the port, room was clean, only half a shower door, they did have toilet paper, coffee was good , complemetary breakfast was so so

They unexpectedly allowed for an early check in. They arranged early morning transport to the airport. Hotel was right next to a Mall, area was safe. Train station right next door. Self serve “bar” in the lobby for adult beverages. Excellent price, clean room.

The hotel is beautiful, but does need a little updating on the outside . The rooms were extremely clean and beautiful. The views are excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is convenience for one to two days but the front staffs is not friendly at all. The breakfast is good specially the coffee but the dinning restaurant needs to change the chefs. The room locker needs to be changed. Overall it’s good for a short period of time. However, the view is spectacular. Thank you.

Property looks like it use to be an old beautiful grand hotel that was forgotten about. One of the pools is green and trashed and not used. The restaurant is not the greatest food. The second pool is a $10fee and you have to wear a swim cap to use. The beds were not very comfortable. There was mold in the bathroom And you can head everything. The view is beautiful

Staff and room were great. The one downside was that the restaurant wasn't open. It's a great restaurant and we were looking forward to eating there again.

The front desk person was always on the phone. We were in the middle of checking in and the phone rings and we have to wait for 5 minutes. Same exact thing happened to us when we checked out. He wasn’t helpful about ways to get to the port earlier and we tried to cancel our shuttle. He claimed he didn’t know how to process a credit???

The bed was very comfortable but the room was dark, musty and smelled damp. Difficult to open the shutters which are high and very dirty to touch. Couldn't leave window open to air room as on ground floor. First impression of room was looking at threads hanging down from the stairs to the bedroom- looked like cobwebs at first - could be easily remedied. No explair in bathroom- not good.

I was charged 70 euro extra to change from a single to double, despite the cost of a double found much cheaper online. The room that was given was actually a disabled persons room and not as described originally. The hygiene was poor. The room and shower was dirty and not to an acceptable standard.

Room spotless/staff helpful and courteous. They are updating the hotel. They have a nice bathtub but no standing shower. The break fast was so good. The croissants and other pastries were amazing. Location was perfect. A five minute walk from the train terminal, and ten minutes from cruise bus pick up. Restaurants near by. The ocean park just across the street.

The check in was smooth and Johnny was very nice. Seemed busy and understaffed but was efficient in what he was doing. The inside of the hotel is nice and clean. The signage was the best of the hotels in the area but quoted dated and showed its age. I would stay again.

The property is a bit dated, but good for a stay over for boarding a cruise . The best feature is the cruise shuttle at a very reasonable price of 5€. If they can offer a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel that will even be better, the taxi drivers at Civitivecchia station are *****, they will change the agreed price upon arrival ! If budget is the main consideration for a pre cruise stay, this hotel is acceptable. The location is a bit remote (30 minute walk to the main tourist area) and the property is extremely tired with dusty vents, peeling wallpaper, disappointing A/C and some apparent bathroom mould. We had a wonderful stay, the owners were so helpful with restaurant recommendations and if you are going on a cruise the location of the hotel is wonderful just a 3 min walk to the shuttle buses.

The hotel was okay for one night. Not close enough to the port or shopping but it was convenient. They also had a shuttle for 5 Euros per person to the ship which was great. The room was very spacious and even had a cooking unit and a washer/dryer for transit persons to be able to wash if they needed to. The restaurant that they transport you to was not good. Find your own if you are hungry.

Room was clean and attentive in all our needs . Front desk was excellent with out us asking for a taxi to take us to the cruise he all ready had set it up for us and ready to go. I will defently will come back and stay here again. Grout job. 👍

Well accessible place with free parking on the street and 3 km from the center. Private host just refurbished and well finished, well clean room with very comfortable king size bed, TV and air conditioning in the room, elegant bathroom. Fantastic owners. They waited till 1 am for us to arrive after our ferry from Barcelona arrived 4 hours late. We arrived to a warm welcome and a spotlessly clean house with a comfortable bed and decent shower. We can not thank them enough for their patience and will definitely be staying with them again on our next visit to Civitavecchia as long as they have a room for us.

We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise. Most impressed with the reception team who were very helpful indeed. Ideally placed by the seafront and the railway station where the cruise ship shuttle departs every 30 minutes for just 6 euros per person. A very good buffet breakfast is offered which was very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed there for 1 night before getting on our cruise. The room was nice and clean, and the front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. Even they did not have a storge room for our temporary luggage storage, they let us put them in the restaurant (which was closed after breakfast time) which was really helpful.

This is a tourist hotel and there are a lot of people staying here that go on the cruises out of the port. They don't appear to be any large change hotels in Civitavecchia. The bus terminal is just next door if you wish to come or go by bus. We arrived 2 hours earlier than check-in time but had no problem getting the staff to meet us to let us into our room. Stayed there with 5 other adults, in two rooms with 2 bathrooms. I would have given it 5 stars but obviously not a 5 star hotel, but it was perfect for our needs. Clean, well located, helpful staff. The staff at this hotel were kind, generous & helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious & the grounds were beautiful. Our room was really nice. Be sure not to drink the tap water. Get a bottle of water instead. If we are able to, we will come back to this hotel. There is also a friendly fox on site.

The owner, Leonardo, met us as we exited the cab, he carried our luggage! the bath was across the hall, but we were the only ones allowed to use it, so it was private. when we opened the curtain, we found a charming private garden, with chaise lounge chairs under an umbrella, and apple and orange trees looking gorgeous.

La Marina is a gem. The location is right across the street from the beach so it has stunning views. The hosts were very hospitable. They couldn't do enough to make you stay comfortable. It's a relaxed atmosphere. The location to the cruise port is perfect. I was able to see my ship waiting for me to get on while I was having an excellent breakfast on the terrace

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. They don’t have to washcloths or shampoo for the shower, but we were only there for 1 night so we made do. Our host was excellent.

The interior decoration feels very homely and is very clean. The public areas include the lobby, sofas, kitchen, etc., which are all maintained very cleanly. The interior is mostly decorated with stone, which looks quite comfortable. Remember to check in before 8pm

Such a great find away from the busy streets of civitavecchia. We came across this gen of a place when looking for a 1 night stay before joining a ship the next day. What can i day exceeded our expectations on all levels. Was clean, cozy and the lush green fields around made it the perfect retreat. My husband traveled with a friend and two motorbikes. The location is fantastic if you arrived from Grimald lines ferry, Aldo the host is super friendly and he went beyond their expectations! A really nice B&B, they're really nice and flexible about times, if necessary. Rooms are clean and the price is the best in the whole city. I would never go to another B&B in Civitavecchia, it's the best of the whole place.

I stayed today for the first time and I must say that the rooms with their own private bathroom are very nice, very clean and the owners and collaborators very kind and helpful. I advise!

Large rooms, basic furniture, fairly central location. Good breakfast with rusks, wrapped brioches, single-portion jams, milk, coffee and fruit juices. I would recommend eliminating loose biscuits and cereals and replacing the sugar bowl with single-serving sachets. The only flaw: the cleanliness, very superficial.

Giulia welcomed us in a nice and helpful way. The environment is pleasant and quiet, rooms clean and beds comfortable. If our bathroom had been in the room it would have been perfect but even so we spent a pleasant night.

The music from the bar/party below the room was extremely loud until late in the night. The cleaning staff was banging on the door asking us to leave 30 minutes before check out.

The location was perfect if you are catching a cruise the next day. You are surrounded by bars and restaurants. The night i stay you could people singing karaoke so was hard to sleep.

This B&B was perfect for what we needed. Just a close place to the cruise port. We took a walk the day before to make sure we were going to the right place. The beds were comfortable. The shower was a little scary. Huge step up and very tiny.

Used for pre cruise, after a few hours travelling it was great to kick back eat good food in the many restaurants.
