When I had originally read the reviews for this hotel I was nervous that I had chosen badly but, to my very pleasant surprise, this hotel is a hidden gem! It’s incredibly located, right on the beach where you experience a beautiful sunset every night. The lifeguards, including Filippo, are so friendly and super helpful, always with a smile. The staff all the same are ready to suggest places to eat...

Location was great!!! Room was a little dated, but comfortable. Pillows, however, were very uncomfortable. Hospitality staff were friendly and offered great service. Front desk staff were not friendly or helpful.

Room was plain and basic. Nothing romantic or beautiful about it. Location was right on the beach with a pool. 20 minute walk into the historical center. Easy walk or bike. Many beach chairs were already reserved without anyone on them. Service at the hotel was terrible, especially for drinks at the pool. Very charming, beautiful little hotel though.

The location, city and sea are nice. The hotel might be nice also if not one thing: flies. The lunch is horrible because of them and stuff don't do anything. There are tables inside but they don't want to move dinner from the outside. So flies also enjoy ur food and you every fkn day. It's a complete disaster. Also have to notice very poor Wi-Fi, extremely small showers in rooms and weak air conditions

The location is superb, you get out from your room, you get the lift and you find yourself directly under your umbrella/sunbed in front of the cristal sea

I stayed at the Virgilio 7 nights with my family and it was fantastic. The accomidations, service,staff and food were all amazing!!! Definitely would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!!!!

Highly recommend this hotel. The central location made it super easy to walk into town. We had chairs rented at a separate beach club through family so we didn't use the hotel beach but I'm sure it was great. The pool is beautiful and quiet and the rooms were clean and well appointed.

The staff was amazing. Our flight was canselled at the time we where leaving Norway. We didn`t get a new ticket before in three days later, so we would had lost a lot of days in Sperlonga. But the staff at Florenza Residenze managed to postpone our stay by three days, and saved our entire holiday. Florenza Residenze gave us the best service I have experienced in a long time.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Service was prompt, the rooms were kept amazingly clean, and the terrace was an awesome place to enjoy the sunset. The feel you get looking out from the balcony is how I always like to remember Italy. Thank you for the great memories and giving my family a place to relax and enjoy each other thers company.

Very cozy hotel suitated between the northern and southern bay area close to the older part of town. The staff is super friendly and the prices were low. We had a great view over the northern bay area where the hotels beach area is located. An Atm was very close and several cafés as well as great restaurants. The room had a small loft where the bed is.

This is a gorgeous, quaint Italian hotel that is frequented by many Italians. It is a simple, safe walk to the beach or to the historic center of Sperlonga. Fantastic stay to celebrate our 30th annniversary. The staff were all very anttentive and knew enough English to communicate with my minimal Italian. Stayed here for 4 nights, fantastic family run business , super fun and just far enough away from the old town centre, it's a bit of a climb up to hotel but when u get there the views are worth it, we would gladly stay here again 😀.

We were so pleased with this hotel. The family is so welcoming and friendly. Our room had a lovely view of the sea and the town of Sperlonga. Easy walk to the historic town (5 minutes) and another 5 minutes to the beach. We watched the sunset with a freshly made lemon spritz from the deck, which was lovely. It may have been the effect of the good weather, it may have been the proximity to the center, the second row from the sea, the courtesy of the owner, it may have been the wide choice of the breakfast buffet, some of which were “homemade”. The staff were very kind and helpful at this hotel. It was not far from the historic center. It was very close to the beach and an easy walk to pretty much everywhere. It is a small town making it nice to visit the area. Overall, it was a good experience at the hotel. They provided free parking for our car and communicated very well for us.

Simple and traditional structure, but with an excellent position at the foot of the picturesque old town and at the beginning of the seaside area which has a private beach, and also in front of a typical square with restaurants, pizzerias, pastry shops, etc. Small rooms, breakfast in the standard, kindness of the staff, cleanliness of the premises. For us, it's a regular stop in Sperlonga. The hospitality makes us feel at home, the parking is convenient, and the prices are excellent for the area. A flaw? The bed is a bit noisy, but otherwise the room is well-organized and, above all, spotlessly clean. The homemade sweet breakfast is delicious.

The review would like to score much higher for courtesy and kindness of the owners and for the completeness of every comfort, but we strongly recommend improving the level of cleanliness of the rooms and providing ironed and non-creased sheets and towels a little more. sanitized.
