Borghetto Airport/Hospital in Bergamo

Andrea was an amazing host. He responded very quickly to all messages and requests. The restaurants he recommended were great, especially the one nearby. The area is nice, close to public transport and the train station, with shops around. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. I totally recommend it. All in all, a very nice stay.

3 Night Stay - Perfect!
I stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and the service and communication were absolutely exceptional. I could not have wished for better hosts.

The room and bathrooms were very clean, and were cleaned during the day while we were out each day we were there.

It is a very accessible place to reach from both the airport and the city centre, being close to multiple bus stops.

Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and I will look to stay here again if I ever return to Bergamo.

Very central hotel to the airport and close to the highway.

Lovely room and a great host. The property was a walkable distance from the centre as well as very close to bus stops. The room was very spacious and clean, and the host was very helpful and friendly, even helping us order a taxi to get to our flights on time. Will definitely come again!

TL:DR - don't listen to the bad reviews, this is great place to stay, excellent price to quality ratio.

Together with wife we first booked the hotel and then read the opinions, and there are quite few negatives here on google - loud neighbourhood, unpleasant owner, issues with check-in, mess in the rooms, etc.. It was already too late for us to cancel, so we decided to go with the flow. And that was a great decision. 1) Andrea (the owner), super nice guy - 1 day before our arrival, he texted me on whatsapp to confirm the hour of arrival (we got there before 11pm), no issues there. 2) The place is close to the airport and hospital, so I expected lots of noise from planes and amublances. Nope, we slept like babies (and I'm a really lightsleeper). 3) This is a 2 star hotel and I've slept in smaller rooms in hotels with "higher quality". Don't get me wrong, room was not small, bathroom neither, I just saw a comment from someone that they are, and I disagree. 4) Andrea told that indeed, cleaning is done once per 3 days, but we weren't in Bergamo to sit the whole day in the hotel, and we're not really messy people, so it was all fine. Nevertheless, Andrea said - if you need cleaning, just call me. 5) If you stay there for couple of days with intention of seeing Bergamo few days in a row - buy a city transport pass (1 or 3 days), you have bus stop right under the hotel.

Andrea is the greatest host, so friendly and helpful! the rooms are clean, nice and have a good smell.

Andrea is a fantastic host, flexible for occuring diffuculties and was very happy to answer any questions. Room was clean and cosy - A/C and bottled water for guests also were available. Good localization, great price.
