Piazza Vittorio Suites in Torino

We got robbed in this place. We came back after dinner and realised that our bags were searched and our stuff on the floor. We could not reach out to anyone working because it was late and for now not got any refund since the owners are denying it. Everything looked already suspicious since there was a construction side in the building and a room in our appartment where the light was on but we couldn't enter.

Avoid avoid avoid, at all costs. When we entered the apartment, we realized it was not a duplex, as per our booking. Furthermore, it was dusty, dirty and smelled musty. Even the toilet seat was too small!

In the bedroom we could spot black mold, so we immediately booked another hotel and left. Still, the management of Piazza Vittorio Suites lied, and claimed we slept there one night. Scammers.

I really hate writing poor reviews especially when my hopes were so high of this place.. I'd stayed here before and loved it. It is in a wonderful location ( one of my favourite piazzas in Torino). I had booked suite 7 for my sister's 60th birthday and her daughter joined us for 2 nights which was to have been a surprise. ( we paid a supllement) Good things...location, style ( it's a classy little place). Shame that the clothes hangers were wire - it brought diwn the tone. Solud ones would have been more in keeping. Bad things....it was really really dirty. The dust on the lamps and radiators was thick and dust had collected everywhere ( and this was over time) We couldn't find any cutlery - what was there was basic and still in the dishwasher. Some of the cups were dirty). There was no cutting board and no sharp knife. Most people eat out but we wanted one night in. I paid for our stay the following morning and told Monixa that some crockery was dirty. She knocked 10 euros off the price. That evening we ate in the suite but when I went to wash the dishes, I found the most disgusting sponge I had ever seen. There was also only a drop of washing up liquid. The following morning I was promised a 'deep clean' and the cleaning manager came round. I showed her the sponge. She said it was disgusting and put it straight in the bin. The room was then cleaned well and a bottle of detergent provided. I felt sorry for the young man who cleaned it who I understand was reprimanded ( he pointed out to me that it hadn't rained since January. ) Lots of apologies provided and Monica asked me to send my IBAN derails which I did - ten days ago. I assumed I would be getting some sort of discount. . I have heard nothing since. Not even an acknowledgement of my email. In addition I had asked if I'd mistakenly left a silk scarf. No response to that either. This place has a head start in terms of location and style ( when I stayed the previous time I put up a well deserved review) but what a way to ruin things - and to combine it with complete silence after being asked to give my bank details. Dreadful customer service. I know in the great scheme of things with all that is going on in the world that this is unimportant. However I just feel so disappointed and let down especially by the lack of contact. It seems to be a case of ' if we ignore her she'll go away.

On the other hand, the accommodation is on the last floor without any air conditioning. The host was rude: he threatened to kick us when we wanted to pay with a card. In the guise of being busy, he wanted us to clear our schedule to meet him in person.

Absolutely terrible experience. 1st my booking was messed up, 2nd there is no service at all. There is no upkeep of the place, everything smells musty and old. Tv doesnt work AC doesnt work. There is an emergency number given, but when i called, i was told will be done tomorrow!!!! The place is nothing like the pictures. The building is very very old, the apartments and not upgraded at all. i am so so upset.

Well interestingly I put up a really good review three years ago and really enjoyed stating here....so I wanted to come again. How things change! (I stayed here from 15th to 19th April 2022.) On the back of that I booked it again as I wanted to treat my sister for a special birthday ( my niece joined us for two nights and I paid a supplement for those nights.)

Unfortunately it was not the best experience.

Good things...location in a wonderful old and grand piazza. It also felt very secure. Furthermore it is stylish ( though the cheap clothes hangers let it down. and a few things didn't work. ) Loved the lighting.

I paid for our stay immediately ( i.e. the following morning). I mentioned the cutlery and durty cups - in the dishwasher. Monica took 10 euros off the price.

In addition I had asked if I'd mistakenly left a silk scarf. No response to that either. Dreadful customer service. I am so so disappointed. I could almost forgive an off day ( they told me it was not their usual cleaner)....but that nobody has replied to me is pretty poor.
